Warehouse Volunteer Thank You Posters Hand-made posters for the Northwest Harvest volunteer rooms PAPER SIZE: Posters can be as small as 2’ x 2’ or as large as 3’ x 8’. How you want to orient the artwork on the paper is up to you either vertically or horizontally is fine with us. Butcher paper is the best fit for us, but poster board works well too. TO: These posters are for our volunteers, from Northwest Harvest, so any words of appreciation are fine. Here are some examples: Our volunteers are the best! Thank you volunteers! Our volunteers are stars! Thank you for helping us fight hunger! Or feel free to create your own unique thank you message for our volunteers! PICTURES: We love posters with lots of colors! A food theme is great! Consider pictures that include: people growing, giving, getting, or eating food. Also, smiling faces, full hearts, birds, flowers, etc. are wonderful! YOUNG ARTISTS: We ask that our young artists please write their first name (if you’re comfortable with that), your school or group you’re working with if any - (such as Girl Scout Troop 234) and your age. HOW MANY TO MAKE? Make as many as you can/want/are able. We’re grateful for however many posters you’d like to create. WHEN: This is an on-going year-round project so there is no specific due date. We welcome posters at any time! The posters can be dropped off at the Cherry Street Food Bank (711 Cherry St, Seattle, WA 98104) or the Kent warehouse (22220 68 th Avenue South, Kent, WA 98032). VOLUNTEER HOURS: Yes, community service hours can be provided for this activity! Hours must be supervised and tracked by a parent, guardian or other adult chaperone, and then turned into Jennifer Chew, our Volunteer Program Manager. Earning service hours is not required to participate, but if you'd like to receive hours, please pre-register with Jazen Mantuano, Volunteer Program Assistant by sending an email before starting the posters: [email protected]. FOR MORE INFO: Please reach out to Jazen at any time with questions. Thank you so much! We appreciate you! And our volunteers will smile with appreciation when they see your posters on our walls!
