It contains all necessary missions and results sheets required for you to participate in todays tournament. It is your responsibility to hold onto and not lose this packet during the tournament. </p><p>If you lose this packet, be prepared to be docked points! </p></li><li><p>ADEPTICON 2015 WARHAMMER FANTASY BIG BRAWL NOTES Welcome to the AdeptiCon 2015 Warhammer Fantasy Big Brawl Tournament. A few things to keep in mind: </p><p> Be sure to set your army out for display after round one. You put a ton of effort into your army, and it is time to show it off! </p><p> Please note the order of the sheets in your packet. The Scoring Sheet for Game One is on the last page. After filling out each games scoring sheet, please turn it into the scoring judge. </p><p> Questions on Scenarios or Rules should be referred to a Tournament Judge. We will do our best to make this a fun and enjoyable tournament. Table Assignments and Top Scoring lists will be </p><p>available as soon as possible. Be aware of the Time Restrictions and keep an eye on the Countdown timers. We are striving to have you complete </p><p>your games. </p><p>Good Luck and Have Fun! - The AdeptiCon 2015 Warhammer Fantasy Big Brawl Staff </p><p>WARHAMMER FANTASY BIG BRAWL RULES RECAP Each player must create a valid 3000 point army. That is the army that must be played for the entire tournament </p><p>without modification. Valid Army Books: Beastmen, Bretonnia, Daemons of Chaos, Dark Elves, Dwarfs, Empire, High Elves, Lizardmen, Ogre </p><p>Kingdoms, Orcs&amp; Goblins, Skaven, Tomb Kings, Vampire Counts, Warriors of Chaos, &amp; Wood Elves. Valid Army Lists: Elven Hosts (Warhammer: Khaine), The Legion of Azgorh (Tamurkhan), The Undead Legions </p><p>(Warhammer: Nagash), and The Legions of Chaos (Warhammer: Glottkin). Battlescrolls and Scrolls of Binding WILL NOT be allowed in this event. Units, Special Characters and the Chaos Dwarfs (The Legion of Azgorh) army list from Tamurkhan: Throne of Chaos </p><p>will be allowed in this event. Players MAY NOT mix Warriors of Chaos/Daemons of Chaos and Chaos Dwarf units. Players fielding units from this book MUST have a copy of the book and it MUST be made available to your opponent at all times. You will NOT be allowed to field any models or units that you cannot produce the most current set of rules for. </p><p> Units and Special Characters from the Warhammer: Thanquol army book will be allowed in their respective armies, following all rules outline in the book. Battlescrolls and Formations from the Warhammer: Thanquol army book WILL NOT be allowed in this event. </p><p> Players using army lists from The End Times books may use Army book-specific magic items, but only characters from their armies of origin can take Army book-specific items (e.g., a Dark Elf Death Hag BSB cannot take the Banner of the World Dragon from Warhammer: High Elves). </p><p> The Magic of The End Times special rules from Warhammer: Khaine WILL NOT be in effect regardless of army played or if one player wants to use them. </p><p> Special/Named Characters are allowed. This includes named unit champions. Additionally, Special Characters from The End Times books may be taken in the respective armies they are allowed to be taken in (e.g., Valten, Crom the Conquerer, &amp; Karl Franz Ascendant). </p><p> Dwarfs of Chaos count as Forces of Destruction. Rhinox Riders are NOT allowed. Fortitude, as defined in the Blood &amp; Glory scenario in the main rulebook, will be used extensively throughout this </p><p>event. While Fortitude may not be used to determine the winner in each scenario, objective points will be available through Fortitude. This may or may not be Fortitude summoned during the course of the game. </p><p> The Chaos Ascendant scenario special rules will not be in use. Chaos Wizards (Warriors of Chaos, Demons of Chaos, and Beastmen) will not automatically know 'Summon Infernal Legion' as it is a part of the Chaos Ascendant scenario special rules. </p><p> Building rules are in effect per the main rulebook. All forests will be counted as Mysterious Forests and follow all rules outlined in the main rulebook. All water features will be counted as Mysterious Rivers and follow all rules outlined in the main rulebook. Wood Elves are allowed their free forest; however they must be fully painted and complete with trees (no pieces of </p><p>paper). This will be a closed list environment, but you must provide your opponent with your army list at the end of the </p><p>game. </p></li><li><p>SCORING The total number of points available is 109 points, divided up as follows: </p><p>Category Possible Points % of Total Category Possible Points % of Total Battle 45 points 41% Sportsmanship 24 points 22% Bonus Battle Points 15 points 14% Appearance 25 points 23% </p><p>Once you have calculated the Victory Points you have earned and the difference between the results, consult the chart below to determine the Battle Points you have earned for this round. The intention is for each round to produce a winner and a loser. Additionally, each player may earn up to 5 Bonus Battle Points each round. </p><p>Example: Player 1 earns 1787 VP, Player 2 earns 725 VP. The difference is 1062, so player 1 will earn 13 Battle Points while player 2 earns 7 Battle Points. </p><p>Sportsmanship: Fill out the checklist on your scoring sheet. Threaten no more. To secure peace is to prepare for war! </p><p>BATTLEFIELD Terrain is preset. Confirm the terrain on the table using the guide on page 2 of this packet. All Forests are considered to be Mysterious Forests and follow all rules outlined in the main rulebook (pg. 119). The remaining pieces of terrain are considered to be normal ones of its type. If your table has any different terrain pieces than those shown on the guide, please refer to your specific table instructions. </p><p>DEPLOYMENT As per the Battleline Scenario (page 144). </p><p>Roll off to see which player picks the half of the table they will deploy in. The opponent will deploy in the other half. </p><p>Players then take it in turn to place units on the table, using the alternating units method of deployment described on page 142. Units may be placed anywhere in their deployment zone that is more than 12 from the center line. </p><p>WHO GOES FIRST As per the Battleline Scenario (page 144). </p><p>Roll off after deployment to see which player takes the first turn. The player that finished deploying his army first adds +1 to his roll. </p><p>GAME LENGTH The game will last six turns or time is called in the round. Do not begin another game turn when the 15 minute warning is called in the round. Finish the game turn you are in and do not start another one. </p><p>SPECIAL RULES The Box: The 18 Box will be placed in the center of the battle field. Score +100 Victory Points for every non-summoned banner within the Box at the end of the game. </p><p>VICTORY CONDITIONS Standard Victory Points per the main rulebook (pg. 143) will be used. Any model making a fly move must take a dangerous terrain test when doing so. Ridden monsters failing a dangerous terrain test will be distributed as shooting. </p><p>Cave Squigs: At the beginning of your turn, roll a d6. On a roll of a 1, your army is attacked by hiding Cave Squigs. Roll a further d6 for each of your units on the table, on a roll of a 1 that unit suffers d6 hits, distributed as shooting, that are armor piercing and wound on a 4+. </p><p>VICTORY CONDITIONS Standard Victory Points per the main rulebook (pg. 143) will be used.
