Agenda-•The agenda is your hall pass the ENTIRE year. This is how you will go to the office, Media Center, And Student Services ( basically everywhere BUT the bathroom)
•If you lose it, so sorry. You must find your own way of replacing it or coming up with a comparable item.
•If you do not have your Agenda you WILL NOT LEAVE THE CLASSROOM
Bathroom- •Students are NOT allowed to go to the restroom during the 1st 15 minutes or the last 15 minutes of class.•Each student will be given 6 passes a quarter to be used in ALL of their 7th grade core classes.•Unused passes may be turned in to core teachers at the end of the quarter for extra credit. More information will to follow later in the quarter

Breakfast Passes-•When passes are issued you have 3 minutes to get to the cafeteria and back to the classroom. This is based on the 1st Period Teacher time.•If you return after the 3 minutes :
1. You will receive a warning2. You will lose the privilege of going to get your
breakfast for a week. Another responsible student will be sent to get breakfast for you
3. All breakfast trash must be thrown away by 9:15 am (unless you are on a late bus).
Cafeteria Behaviors-•Respect all cafeteria staff•Enter and leave quietly along established routes•Keep hands and feet to yourself•Each student is responsible for clearing his/ her tray and trash•Each day or week 2 students will be chosen to sweep the floors and wipe the tables of our assigned area in the cafeteria
Bookbags and Lockers-•No bookbags or large purses are allowed in the classroom. Small string bags and purses are allowed. NO LARGE TOTE BAGS!!•Locker Times:
•Morning- 9:12-9:15 am•Afternoon- 2:52-2:57 pm (after electives on your way to 4th block)• You will NOT be allowed to go to your locker at lunch. You MUST keep your lunch with you.
•If you enter class after the allotted 3 minutes:•1st time- Warning•2nd time- Locker will be zip tied for 2 days. You will have to carry everything all day. You are still NOT allowed to have your bookbag in class/

Cell phones-•Cell phones should be turned off and in your pocket or string bag.•If they are seen they will be confiscated and turned in to the office. A parent MUST come and pick up the cell phone.•Cell phones are NOT permitted at PPA or in the cafeteria

What are the cover and first few pages of the Interactive Notebook
like?1. Cover Page- decorated with interesting things
about you.2. First page of your notebook will be your “About
Me Page”- include 6 interesting facts about yourself with a picture of yourself or something important to you.
3. Save next 8 pages for table of contents.
Student Materials for the Interactive
Notebook:• 5 Subject Notebook or Binder• Pencils and pens• Colored pencils/ crayons/
markers• Glue sticks, stapler, or tape
Maintaining the Interactive Notebook
• No ripped out pages or torn corners• No doodling that doesn’t relate to
notes• Notebook should only be used in
Social Studies. (No other classes!!)• Date and number each page
How will the Interactive Notebook be graded?
• Interactive notebooks are checked once a quarter and randomly if needed.
• Before they are collected you will be given a rubric explaining what items and organization I will be looking for.
• Interactive Notebooks count as an Informal Assessment 35% grade and a
Homework 35% grade.
