PERFORMANCE

The advent of Kim’s revolutionary new PicoPrism optics means the full potential of the

WARP9’s design has truly been realized. With Kim’s new PicoPrism optics, the WARP9 enjoys

a 150% boost in lumen output, 22,000 plus lumens while preserving the same timeless

aesthetic that’s made it the clear designers’ choice.

By making use of this highly-controlled, solid-state aimed optics combined with advanced, state-

of-the art LED technology, the WARP9 harnesses the power of today’s high-performance diodes.

Each PicoPrism module is constructed to IP66 standards, and has been engineered to produce

the maximum level of output with minimal energy consumption, channeling this powerful LED

optic to collect and distribute uniform illumination with reduced glare and a high comfort factor.

FLEXIBILITY

PicoPrism WARP9 luminaires are highly customizable and can achieve any IES

distribution, as well as custom distributions. PicoPrism optics allow for

incredible versatility, tight cutoffs, flexible focus ensures that the light goes

where it’s desired, and ONLY where it’s desired.

TYPE I – For narrow pathways or residential streets, 5 mounting heights apart.

TYPE II – For narrow roads or residential streets, 5 mounting heights apart.

TYPE III – For double lane roads with two-way traffic, 5 mounting heights apart, staggered on both sides of the street.

TYPE IV – For parking lot perimeter areas with two-way traffic, 4 mounting heights apart.

TYPE V – For parking lot interior areas with lighting desired in all directions, 4 mounting heights apart.

TYPE L – For one-way road or pathway illumination position away from traffic, 4 mounting heights apart.

TYPE R – For one-way road or pathway illumination position away from traffic, 4 mounting heights apart.

NEIGHBOR FRIENDLY OPTIC

PicoPrism optics are designed to solve light trespass issues by reducing the

back light into neighboring yards or across property lines. If more shielding is

required the Neighbor Friendly Optic option is used to further reduce the

presence of light behind the pole. The no-backlight configuration meets stringent

USGBC LEED requirements in the areas of Light Pollution Reduction, Light Trespass

and Energy Efficiency. The Neighbor Friendly Optic maintains the appearance

and EPA of the luminaire and is field installable.

RELIABILITY

WARP9 luminaires feature a comprehensive, multi-level thermal management system.

First, each WARP9 housing is equipped with heat-dissipating fins on the exterior surface, which radiate thermal

buildup from the inside out. Second, individual heat sinks on the PicoPrism module are able to draw heat directly

from the source, to ensure longer life. Last, and perhaps most important, all WARP9 luminaires come complete

with our exclusive LifeShield™ Protection System. Each PicoPrism employs temperature sensors located at the

most heat sensitive locations within the luminaire. Sensors send temperature readings in regular intervals to

on-board LifeShield monitoring devices. The system detects high ambient temperatures and temporarily reduces

current slightly to preserve diode life. Lumen output is restored to full capacity once temperatures stabilize within

acceptable limits. The end result is a highly reliable LED system that can withstand operation in even warmer,

heat sensitive environments.

The latest iteration of this landmark luminaire builds upon the established tradition of the WARP9, but makes a

wide range of dramatic improvements…All without sacrificing what made WARP9 a flagship, industry-leading

fixture right from day one. The quality, durability and versatility that have become synonymous with WARP9 are

still present in every facet. Yet, with the introduction of Kim’s exclusive PicoPrism optics, WARP9 is more capable

than it’s ever been.

Fixture and arm are mounted to the cast aluminum cover plate before attaching to the wall mounting plate.
