- Aussage des Herstellers: „In Indien ist jedoch unser Hauptproblem der Preis. Außerdem haben sich schon viele Firmen auf ein bestimmtes System

eingeschworen und wenn es funktioniert, keinen Anlass sehen, das Werkzeugsystem zu wechseln.“

- Aussage der Distributoren:

• Preis-Leistung Verhältnis stimmt nicht (Produkt bei weniger Leistung teurer als deutsche Konkurrenz)

• Er trägt das Risiko, muss in Vorführprodukt und Vorführung investieren. Nach 2 erfolglosen Vorführungen war Schluss

• Kein Zwischenlager

• Keine Schulung, keine Besuche nach Indien seitens Hersteller

Beispiel Angebot für eine vollautomatische Verpackungsmaschine (Maschinenpreis ca. €60.000):

Die Gewährleistung beträgt 12 Monate nach Inbetriebnahme – im Einschichtbetrieb – ausgenommen Verschleißteile.

Für die Aufstellung und Inbetriebnahme haben wir 7 Tage angenommen. Mit Flug und Spesen betragen die Gesamtkosten für eine Woche €12.200,--.

Fazit: Kein Risiko, keine Kosten, keine Ergebnisse

Ergebnis: Auftrag an einen der knapp 800 indischen Konkurrenten verloren.

Anforderungen:

- Produkt muss den Anforderung des indischen Marktes entsprechen (ggf. Produktanpassung)

- Preis-Leistung-Verhältnis muss stimmen („Made in Germany“ = sehr teuer)

- Service muss gewährleistet sein

- Marktnähe muss gewährleistet sein

- Geduld bzw. einen langen Atem mitbringen / langfristig denken

Daimler India to launch 6 truck models by end of 2012

Chennai: The world’s leading truck manufacturer Daimler AG’s Indian arm, Daimler India Commercial Vehicles Pvt.

Ltd., said on Wednesday it would launch six models of its BharatBenz trucks by the end of December.

Carl Zeiss opens development unit in Bangalore

Speaking exclusively to TOI before inaugurating the company's Bangalore campus, Michael Kaschke, president and

CEO of Carl Zeiss AG, said, "The investment into developing the infrastructure at our campus is Rs. 30 crore." He

added that the company's total investment in India, which includes acquisition of assets, is €25 million over the past 8

years. The R&D, which has the abbreviated name CARIn ( Center for Applications and Research in India), will focus on

the medical technology sector and look to develop medical equipment tailored to the Indian market requirements.

world after China and it is well above the world average of 60%," HR services firm Randstad's Workmonitor survey for

the 2012 second quarter, released on Wednesday said.
