The parade was carried out according tothe prearranged programme and was

attention on account of their appear-ance in sober black dress suits with fezIn decided contrast with their manycolored surroundings Sphinx Temple onthe route went through a series of march-Ing evolutions which together with theirfine appearance gained them applause allalong the line Ismailia Temple of Buffalofollowed this part and their peculiarlyshaded bloomers excited mirth and laughter being a combination of many colors
Almas Mounted Patrol under commandof Noble Robert Cook which was designated as the special escort to the ImperialPotentate excited attention and admira-tion being attired in long white flowingrobes with streaming banners and mounted on splendid caparisoned chargers Onehalt of this patrol preceded and the otherhalf followed the carriage of the imperialPotentate which was drawn by eight blackhorses Almas Mounted Patrol is the onlyone in the world It attracts attention atevery session ot the Imperial CounciL
The end of the parade brought upwith about 100 carriages containing mem-bers of various temples
After emerging from the eastern gate ofthe White House Grounds the parade tookthe following line of march To FifteenthStreet to Pennsylvania Avenue to ThirdStreet there countermarching up Pennsylvania Avenue to Tenth Street to FStreet When the rightofline reached FStreet the parade came to a halt and theseveral patrols formed line to the left anddressed back to the curb The grand mar-shal and staff then proceeded down theline and escorted the Imperial Council tothe Columbia Theatre in the following or-der Grand Marshal and staff AlmasMounted PatroL escorting carriage contaming the Imperial Potentate followed bythe other carriages The patrols stood atpresent while the Imperial Council passedup the llne
