PETE’S BAR NEWSThis week we are running an extra night with the courtesy bus. The bus will hopefully now run every Saturday night so you can enjoy happy hour and watch the footy on Foxtel.This Saturday night we will also have a prize for the best NRL themed patron. Plus…. Happy hour this Saturday between 5pm and 7pm will be $4 Schooners for all types of tap beer. Responsible service of alcohol will be strictly adhered to.

Also, Rob and Gary have been busy installing a TV in the Smokers Deck area. Now you can have a drink and a cigarette without missing any of the action on Foxtel. Thanks for all your hard work

Where would Muree be without these men?

These legends are our trusty volunteers. You will find them working in various parts of the club or course each Tuesday. You might find them mowing, concreting, fixing toilets, changing light globes, helping the boys with the course maintenance or just about anywhere. They come with a wealth of knowledge and various skills that they are more than willing to share.

LEEROY'S BITS Hi golfers hopefully all this rain has gone and we can start to get into

golf more.

It was great to see a major golf championship on tv again.

My shop has still got a huge golf sale on , everything is at cost or under.

If you need anything from clubs to grips, bags, buggies, hat , balls we have you covered .

Ladies clinics have started from 3-4 pm on Thursdays and kids cadet clinic is back on Fridays from 4- 5 please ring pro shop to book in.

Personal lessons are on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays by appointment.

My new mevo flight scope should be here any day and this device will help me show you things from faults in your swing to club fitting numbers ie: spin rates on drivers , distance hit and launch angles.

Swing speeds and club paths all very important in club fitting and lessons stay tuned.

TIP OF THE WEEK

Do you struggle to transfer your weight practice at home swinging in the air club 20 cms off ground . Full swing back and through because you don’t hit anything you must follow through with the club , finish above your left shoulder and hold a pose on your right toe for 3 seconds count slowly 1,2,3 this will make sure you don’t fall back and give you a beautifully balanced finish.
