Water – our basic drink. It forms us and our world.

The chemical name of water is H2O. It means that in the compound of water consists of two atoms of hydrogen and one atom of oxygen.

Hydrogen is an element and it is non-metal. It is precisely common element what means that in nature there isn’t just one atom of hydrogen, there are always two atoms which can be written as: H2. H2 is a molecule.

Oxygen is the most popular element and it is non-metal. And it is common element too, so we can write it as: O2. And O2 is molecule. Oxygen is necessary for us, because we can’t live without breathing. Without oxygen our world wouldn’t exist.
