ConclusionsConclusions• Particularity of Caruachi Power Plant : no penstock

• Kaplan turbine is the most suitable for Caruachi project

•Theoretical analysis is a bit different than the original design

⇒Not considering all the parameters but really good approximation

• Get more information about site conditions, civil work, electricity demand, environmental situation and impact as well as budget…

• Even if companies has their own procedure to design turbines

⇒Literature really close and gives very good information for the design

Confirmed by our calculations and the real values of Caruachi
