Watly is a thermodynamic computer that combines thermal solar and photovoltaic technologies to provide people with clean water, electricity and Internet connectivity. It works on solar energy.

This computer, as any other of its kind, performs data collecting and broadcasting, runs specific software that allows it to be remotely controlled, and help people to better interact with it. The difference is that Watly is also a water purification system and an electric power-station. It generates electricity off-grid to power its own internal electronics as well as thousand of external devices. It efficiently desalinates ocean water, eliminates all pathogens and microorganisms from previously polluted water, including: viruses, bacteria, parasites, fungi or cysts. It removes inorganic compounds as well as poisons: arsenic, benzene, heavy metals (such as lead), chlorine, chloramines, and radionuclides. It purifies water from any organic compounds and liquid contents of latrines. It does not need filters substitution. Watly’s purification process works exclusively on solar energy and is based on the physical principle of vapor compression distillation which is also integrated with a graphene based patented technology. The quality of the water being purified, is outstanding, absolutely pure, low mineralized and with a perfect pH balance (6.8 - 7.2).

One Watly is a powerful stand alone machine, but two of more Watly become a network. This network is the real IoT and smart grid combined: it called the ‘Energy_net. It refers to a solar powered smart-grid behaving like the Internet but where information technology fuses together with electricity and water. Contrary to Internet, the Energy_net generates the same very power it needs to function. The idea of the Energy_net grasps the truly transformational potential of combining vital and basic resources into a self-supporting ecosystem. It will “terraform” the harshest and farthest places of the Earth establishing new cities where there is nothing today. The Energy_net is the real IoT, that can be built where there is not Internet and where there are not things. It will free million of people from poverty.

Our model is ”Hybrid" -

We sell hardware to direct business customers namely big corporations (telcos, banks for example) - hotels, schools, NGOs, private sector - we can also access to the public sector and the army (for not offensive solutions). In this case we are a BtoB-BtoG

We keep the ownership of the hardware and we use them as advanced vending machines. We generate recurrent revenues with the sales of services (clean water, electricity, connectivity) a collect money from end users through a pay-as-you-go formula. We become service provider BtoC (C being the final user). Our feasibility study shows to us a straightforward conclusion: each unit of Watly generates recurrent incomes that can payback for the initial investment in a period of 6-18 months (depending on the commercial scenario).

It is quite clear that we are addressing ones of the greatest challenges of humanity but also ones of the biggest business opportunities of 21st century. There is huge market for those entrepreneurs and investors willing to make a step forward. We are talking about trillions of euros and with a geographical target market that covers all Africa and Middle-East, a significant part of Asia, America and Australia. These potential markets can be addressed with different business models from pure sales of hardware to sole provision of services. The implications and opportunities driven by exponential changes transforming our world both technologically and socially, are there for bold entrepreneurs to get them and build their future business. Watly is run by a group of people who believes in this roadmap.
