Foot operated industrial style sewing machine
Diver’s suit, used to rescue trapped miner Modesto Varrischetti, from flooded mine in 1907, after 9 days. Coolgardie is famous for this rescue and the discovery of gold in 1892 by Bailey and Ford. They brought in 554 grams of gold and received 2200 pounds or about $776 000 at today’s value.
