Wilmington, NC - WB Surf Camp, a Wrightsville Beach, N.C. based organization, is currently holding signups for its 2010 surf camps. Surf summer camps are offered for kids, teens, familys, and adults and run in three to fourteen day sessions. Registration for the overnight teen surf camps is now open for Wrightsville Beach NC, the Bahamas, Oahu Hawaii, Barbados, Costa Rica, and the Outer Banks. These surf camps run in sessions with the first one starting June 12, 2010 and the last teen adventure camp starting August 7, 2010.
WB Surf Camp is a nationally recognized surf and summer camp organization led by experienced and certified surf instructors. It is widely regarded as one of the safest and most trusted surf camps available. Although based out of Wrightsville Beach, N.C. with many camps operated here, WB Surf Camp also operates surf and summer camps in locations worldwide including Hawaii, Costa Rica, and Australia. Conservation and marine life education are always a theme and a priority during the surf camps for kids, teens, and adults. The overnight teen summer camp program is designed for beginners learning to surf and for surfers looking to improve their skills. A minimum student to instructor ratio of 3:1 ensures that each student remains safe, builds confidence, and learns the fundamental skills necessary for successful surfing. Surf camp locations for teens include Hawaii, Australia, the Outer Banks, Costa Rica, Barbados, the Bahamas, and Florida, encouraging travel and exploration, independence, positive social skills, empowerment through confidence, and environmental and marine awareness.
