Budget Timeline• June 18-19: Assembly Action – Two Democratic amendments (no
amendments supported by Democratic caucus)
– Republican substitute amendment
• June 20-21: Senate Action– 54 Democratic amendments– Zero Republican amendments
• Gubernatorial action– Governor expected to issue vetoes and sign
bill into law on Sunday
Legislative Action• AA 3 to ASA 1 to AB 40– Technical corrections– School voucher modifications (expected
Gubernatorial veto)–Modifications to various property tax
exemptions, sale of state owned property, specific projects
