Protev is an atypical company. Our employees are constantly traveling around the world, often for long periods of time. This, makes

it even more challenging for those co-workers who have families back home. Due to employees traveling constantly working offsite, this time we decided to do our Christmas party here in the office. This is something that I personally enjoy, because at the end we have a that family atmosphere that we couldn’t get otherwise. I personally thank every single employee especially those families who support their spouse regarding of all the traveling.

I invite the Protev Group team to make this 2018 a very successful year. May this new year bring you health, happiness, and abundance!

Challenges, Obstacles, and Goals

Last year was full of challenges and obstacles. With the opening of our new facility in Guadalajara (Mexico), our tasks have doubled up and so our force. The Protev Group is becoming a bigger and stronger company thanks to its employees and business partners. We were and are focused on our next goal, the ISO 9001:2015 certification. The Protev Group team has worked

hard towards this certification diligently with ISO trainers to ensure the goal is met as soon as possible.

A Quick Look Back

It has been already 10 years since I came to Mexico, Cd. Juarez to be more precise. I never imagined that the Protev Group would grow so fast and extend its horizons to other continents such as Asia, Europe, North America, and randomly in South America. Our experts have vast years of experience in the Automotive Industry, and so in other areas. I have no doubt that we have a strong team, and this 2018 will be very fruitful. I, Reiner Bluechel and CEO of Protev Group, and Thomas & Herbert Tucakovic COO in Europe, recognize the effort our employees have made to complete goals with the highest quality possible.

Take a look at our Office and Tool shop in JuarezWe recently moved our office to another location in Cd. Juarez, in which we also have our Tool Shop. Here is our work station where stands out our crane with 20+ tons capacity, as well as a comfortable space to serve our customers.

This goal will be achieved once we get our ISO 9001:2015 certification. Our first audit will be done during February 6-7 in Cd.

Juarez and El Paso Texas. Our team is confident and prepared to achieve this first milestone. We can’t wait enough to go out there and meet our new partners and customers. Our activities will increase in all our locations worldwide.

In addition, we are also proud to officially announce (as briefly mentioned before) the grand opening of our Cd. Juarez Tool Shop as of January 1st, 2018. This new facility consists of tool repairing, modification and maintenance. Our strategy is to implement the next important milestone which consists of Global Support, which is special here between the USA-Mexico border.

In EuropeWe installed our Protev Academy which

involves in offering our customer education

(in technical areas), training and workshops. Some of the mentoring we do include molding process, mold technology, materials, equipment, assembly, varnishing, and welding. On the other hand, our Academy also focuses in management skills like factory or shop floor organization, leadership, team building, and train the instructor. Protev also teaches optimization tools such as SMED, PDCA, 5s, among others. Our expert trainer, Stefan Haberstroh, is the head instructor of the Protev Academy worldwide and delivers his classes either in German or English. He is also supported by a team of additional experts when necessary. Currently we are supporting a customer in USA to improve their areas of injection molding for setters, process technicians, and supervisors.

In AsiaWe are working hard to start our foundation.

In the beginning of January 2018, we opened our

consultancy office in Shenzhen, China under the leadership of Mr. Efren Ruiz. Our goal is to support customers with their mold activities in that area including repair, maintenance, and modification. Protev Group has already signed the first projects with a German customer. Closely but surely, we are getting close to the finish line.

In summary, the Protev Group is acting worldwide and our experts are available in short time to support our customers. In most of our customer’s projects, our worldwide team is involved. Therefore, our experts can express their professional advice. As mentioned before, the Protev Group is dedicated to its customers and the Protev Academy is a way to enhance your employees’ skills.
