• Chris started racing in 1998 in a Legends Car.
• Chris finished 4th overall in the 1999 Oval Legends Car Points.
• Chris finished 4th in the 1999 National Legends Car Championship
• Chris has raced in 1300 Stock Cars, National Bangers, Hot Fords and in Autograss since.
• In 2010 Chris made a long awaited return to the RACEceiver Oval Legends Championship, 9 years since last racing in the formula!
• Chris was crowned UK Oval Track Legends ROOKIE CHAMPION 2010 and finished 10th in the National Points Championship, which featured 50 drivers.
Chris was crowned the UK INEX Semi Pro Champion in 2011 and finished 5th overall in the National Points Championship.
• Chris has set his sights high, with the UK Oval Track Legends Points Championship and the UK INEX Pro Championships the targets for 2012.

• In 1992, the officials at USA’s Lowe's Motor Speedway (formerly Charlotte Motor Speedway) began noticing a great need all across North America. This need was very simple: an affordable race car with a unique design that requires little maintenance time and cost. This was brought about because many short tracks have allowed the cost of their competing race cars to escalate out of control with "loose" rules.
• Car counts began to drop drastically, and at that moment, track officials estimate that 30% to 40% of the race cars in North America were not in competition because of cost.
•As a result of this research, in January 1992, US Legend Cars, Inc. was launched and so began a highly-accelerated R&D program of a new race car that would be affordable, race on smaller tracks and have low maintenance costs.
•It was then in April of 1992 that the first Legends Car was unveiled at the Lowe's Motor Speedway. The concept of creating a fun and affordable "spec" class of racing for anyone to participate in was born.
• Since that time, the Legends Cars have become one of the fastest growing segments of motorsports today. With drivers being classified into four different divisions, Legends Cars is THE racing opportunity that is available to anyone!
•The Pro Division is for the experienced drivers.
•The Masters Division features drivers 40 years and older.
•The Semi-Pro Division is the novice class, featuring the drivers that are new to the sport or have been inactive in other forms of racing for a while.
•While the car stays the same from division to division, it is the driver that makes the difference!
• The Legends Cars continue to be produced by US Legend Cars, Inc. in Harrisburg, North Carolina. Currently they are the largest mass producer of race cars in the world. Presently, there are more than 3,500 Legends Cars in existence.
• The UK Oval Legends Series is sponsored by Raceceiver, who are the World Wide Sponsors of Legends Cars for 2012.
• There are 15 Points Rounds covering 7 of the finest UK Stock Car Oval Tracks throughout England. In addition to racing for points these meetings will also include 4 Major Championship events, the British Championship, the European Championship, the Golden Helmet Award and the pinnacle of the season the much coveted National Championships.
• Southern Tyre & Battery Services - confirmed as a main team sponsor for 2012 for the forth season.
• Blue Dot – Portchester based printers and promotional item suppliers for the third season in 2012.
• YPE Power – Top Legends car engine builder, Stuart Young has agreed to support Chris with his engines for 2012. Chris installed one of his built engines and went and won the next meeting’s feature final.
• AFC Portchester – Portchester based local football club will be helping Chris promote his sponsors with static displays at the ground for the second season in 2012.
• The News – Portsmouth’s daily local paper – Have agreed to report on the team’s racing during 2012.
