GATHERING TOGETHER

WELCOME & ANNOUNCEMENTS SHARING JOYS AND CONCERNS

INSTRUMENTAL PRELUDE: Hymn of Promise Chancel Bells

CALL TO WORSHIP: from Isaiah 60:1-3 Phyllis Santos Sauer

Leader: Arise, shine, for your light has come, and the glory of the Lord has risen upon you.

People: For behold, darkness shall cover the earth, and thick darkness the peoples; Leader: But the Lord will arise upon you, and his glory will be seen upon you. People: And nations shall come to your light, and kings to the brightness of your

rising. * GATHERING SONGS: #411—Arise, Your Light Is Come!

* PRAYER OF CONFESSION: (unison) Phyllis Santos Sauer

Our Heavenly Father, we lower our heads before you, and we confess that we often forget that we are yours. We live our lives scarcely aware that you are always with us. We fall short of living as a credible witness to your grace. For these things we ask your forgiveness. Clear our minds to think your thoughts, open our hearts to love as you love, strengthen our hands that we would serve as you serve. Trusting your promise of mercy, we confess to you...

SILENT CONFESSION

ASSURANCE OF PARDON

* GREETING ONE ANOTHER: Leader: May the peace of Christ be with you.

People: And also with you. * CONGREGATIONAL RESPONSE: Bind Us Together Bind us together, Lord, bind us together With cords that cannot be broken. Bind us together, Lord, bind us together, bind us together with love.

Here I Am to Worship

Light of the world You stepped out into darkness Opened my eyes let me see. Beauty that made this heart adore you Hope of a life spent with you. Chorus:

Here I am to worship Here I am to bow down Here I am to say that you’re my God You’re altogether lovely Altogether worthy Altogether wonderful to me

King of all days Oh so highly exalted Glorious in heaven above Humbly you came to the earth you created All for love’s sake became poor Chorus I’ll never know how much it cost

To see my sin upon that cross (repeat)

Hallelujah

(Your Love Is Amazing)

Your love is amazing,

Steady and unchanging

Your love is a mountain

Firm beneath my feet

Your love is a mystery

How you gently lift me

When I am surrounded

Your love carries me

Chorus:

Hallelujah, hallelujah, hallelujah

Your love makes me sing

Hallelujah, hallelujah, hallelujah

Your love makes me sing

Your love is surprising

I can feel it rising

All the joy that’s growing

Deep inside of me

Every time I see you

All your goodness shines through

And I can feel this God song

Rising up in me

Chorus
