We Are The Champions!
Congratulations to our Year 6 Quiz Team who won first place in yesterday’s final! It was a tense time as
we moved from third position into second and then slayed the competition in the final few rounds to win the
trophy. We are now the reigning champions for the fourth consecutive year!
Our team members are: Hannah Warner, Dylan Sykes, Jack Perham, Ellie Riley, Maisie Hodder, Jessica
Boland, Bobby Paley, Antony Younis, Joanna Edwards, Kieran Munn, Millie Knowles and Lyla James. Well
done to our super Quiz Masters!
Parent Parking
Parent parking remains a huge concern at our
school. Almost daily we see parents parking on
the double yellow lines outside of the school
building. This is not permitted and is
potentially life threatening for our children.
We are looking into having members of staff
outside the building on a regular basis to monitor
and record the number plates of any vehicles
breaching the parking rules.
We are taking this matter very seriously and our
School Council have even decided to make a
video highlighting the dangers to our children.
The video is available to view via a protected
link on our website. Please take some time to
have a look. We really appreciate your support
in this matter.
Attendance
Congratulations to Red Class who had 97.7% attendance this week.
Other classes this week: Blue 95.6 ~ Green 92.3% ~ Purple 95.5% ~ Orange 96.2% ~ Yellow 93% ~
Rainbow 94.1%
Overall attendance is currently 96.4%

SHERPA Kids Closure
If parents of children who were using SHERPA
Kids have any continuing concerns regarding
the closure then please feel free to contact
Mr. Owen. Please be assured the closure was
a necessary move on the school’s part and the
decision was agreed by the local authority’s
safeguarding representative who visited the
school on the Friday before half term.
Mr. Owen is currently investigating several
avenues in an attempt to offer extended hours
to support families but this takes time and
procedures need to be followed. We will keep
parents updated once we have any
confirmation. Many thanks for your continued
support and understanding in this matter.
