Patty and I established our funeral home in 1983 as the fulfillment of a dream to serve the people of Haralson County and surrounding areas. In 2013 we expanded our services by opening a second location in Temple, Georgia. Over the years we have been honored to serve thousands of families in their darkest hour. Alongside us, our daughter and son-in-law, Kathryn and Chase Croft are both licensed funeral directors, embalmers and certified crematory operators.

It is our honor to help you arrange a fitting tribute to remember your loved one. Whether you choose traditional burial or cremation as the method of final disposition, we can make your service truly personal. You can also be well assured, that whatever you choose, burial or cremation, the casket, urn and/or other memorial items you choose are of the highest quality available in that price range.

We Care Cremations – With the rise of families seeking cremation, we decided in 2008 to embrace the concept and install our first on-site crematory. Since that time and word spreading that we were providing cremation for ourselves as well as many other funeral homes, we added a second crematory in 2011. We take great pride in being able to provide first hand care to each family we serve. We provide cremation options at both funeral home locations; however, both of our crematories are located at our Buchanan location.

GENERAL PRICE LIST These prices are effective as of August 5, 2019, but thereafter subject to change without notice.

The goods and services shown below are those we can provide to our customers. You may choose only the items you desire. However, any funeral arrangements you select will include a charge for our basic services and overhead. If legal or other requirements mean you must buy

any items you did not specifically ask for, we will explain the reason in writing on the statement we provide describing the funeral goods and services you selected.

PROFESSIONAL FEES Basic Services of Funeral Director___________________________________________$2,200 Our charge includes funeral counseling, necessary arrangements, recording vital statistics, securing permits, filing and obtaining death certificates and other forms and claims, preparation of necessary notices, and coordination of service plans with parties involved in the final disposition of the deceased. This fee for our basic services and overhead will be added to the total cost of the funeral arrangements you select. (This fee is already included in our charges for our direct cremations, immediate burials, and forwarding or receiving remains.)

CARE & PREPARATION OF THE BODY Embalming ______________________________________________________________ $795 Except in certain special cases, embalming is not required by law. Embalming may be necessary, however, if you select certain funeral arrangements, such as a funeral with viewing. If you do not want embalming, you usually have the right to choose an arrangement that does not require you to pay for it, such as direct cremation or immediate burial. (This fee does not include the cost of a casket, vault, memorial DVDs or any other funeral merchandise. It also does not include the cost of grave opening and closing, certified copies of the death certificate, holiday pricing or any other cash advance items.)

PAYMENT OPTIONS We accept cash, check, and most major credit cards. Payment in full is expected at the time of arrangements and must be secured before our services are provided. We also will accept a verified assignment of a non-contestable life insurance policy; however, a fee of 4.25% of the total contract or minimum of $100 will be added. Many times, we can also accept the transfer of a pre-paid funeral pre-arrangement made with another funeral provider.
