Letter from Charles B. Robertson

Dear Guest,

The disruptions caused by COVID-19 have impacted us all, but we look forward to cruising America’s rivers with you. American Cruise Lines was the first U.S. cruise line to suspend operations and we are committed to resume only when it is safe for our guests, crew, and community partners.

American has taken extreme steps to reduce the risk of virus transmission during your cruise. In the pages that follow, we detail the comparatively low risk nature of our product, as well as the modifications that we are making to further reduce risk. This effort includes physical changes to the ships, extensive training, and new processes to make everyone aboard and ashore comfortable with our operation.

We are committed to responsibly resuming travel in the United States. If you are uncomfortable travelling after reviewing this presentation, please let us know and we will be happy to accommodate you on another cruise with no penalty. Please let us know if you have any questions or concerns. Our customer service agents are available at 1-800-894-8570. We look forward to having you aboard.

Sincerely,

Charles B. Robertson President & CEO
