TNS Report Uncovers Significant GlobalVariances in ATM Usage
A new report has been published by TNS which reveals thatconsumers in the US, UK and Australia exhibit differentbehaviours when using ATMs. The report, called Global Variances in ATM Usage, shares theresults of a survey which TNS commissioned early this year. Itinvestigates, among other things, how frequently people usedATMs, whether they have used ATMs at mobile and temporarysites, whether they have used ATMs in other countries, and theirwillingness to pay ATM fees. It also explores the reasons whysome chose not to use ATMs.

TNS Survey Reveals Major Payment DataSecurity Concerns Among Consumers
A survey commissioned by TNS has found that 85% of adultsin the US, UK and Australia believe the number of criminalstrying to steal credit and debit card data is increasing. More than two thirds are concerned about the security of theirpayment card data and 38% feel their private credit or debitcard data has been put at risk by a data breach, irrelevant ofwhether they subsequently were a victim of fraud. TNS is publishing the key findings of its survey in a new reportentitled Consumer Payment Card Data SecurityPerceptions. Among other things, it also looks at consumerexperiences with fraudulent card use, the falling levels of trustregarding payments made in-store and where consumers perceive responsibility for paymentdata security lies.
