I can attest that time flies when you are having fun! I can hardly believe that ten years have passed since I designed the first Square Feathers’ pillow collection. The last decade has been the highlight of my career. I couldn’t have done this alone. I owe my success to the amazing support of my beloved wife Rebecca, my dear family, my fantastic sales team and staff. The list goes on. I would like to especially thank Cody and David of Codarus for recognizing my talent, and the press for evangelizing Square Feathers’ products. I am grateful for the designers in the industry as they keep me honest and on the competitive edge. This industry boasts an unparalleled pool of talents.

I t’s been said over and over, Ron McIntyre is the curator for new lifestyles for the home. As the designer and founder of Square Feathers, there are no limits for his home collections: they are the product of his very global imagination. While living in Silicon Valley he spent his creative energy buying and reselling homes after infusing his personal design touches on them. His undeniable eye for interior design allowed him to remodel many abodes. A few years later, he moved to Austin, Texas where he launched Square Feathers out of the garage of his home. With no budget for market research, the company was founded all on a faith and confidence that his vision would bring a refreshing addition to the design world. And it did. Ron began designing decorative pillows day and night. He spent a lot of time perfecting his art, hand cutting appliques and layers of fabric, assembling them as prototypes. With a few samples in hand, he set out to visit each hip interior design boutique and solicited business from other interior designers and architecture firms. He literally drove around town with his wife and dog in the car, going door to door to talk to store owners and associates. Ron’s designs and unique craftsmanship spoke for themselves so he first sold small, exclusive quantities to home boutiques. Not long after, the word got out and the small orders grew into larger ones. Within three years, Ron settled into a studio. Today, in addition to creating beautiful pillows, he has added a stunning and refreshing upholstery furniture line, occasional tables, fabulous photography art, and home decor to the design marketplace. The enthusiastic response from Square Feathers customers was overwhelming. His creativity is prodigious and fueled by Square Feathers growth. This experience has shown Ron that anything is possible with ambition, determination, in-spired passion and action.

As one of the most spectacular surroundings one has ever witnessed, an erected concrete building surprisingly blends immaculately well with the raw desert.
