Leann was a 1980 graduate of Tri-County High School. She had workedat Jasper County CommunityServices, and then as a teacher’s aidefor KIRPC Head Start. She also taughtat JCYC preschool in Rensselaer,Indiana and at Rensselaer ElementarySchool. Leann loved all of her studentsand her family very much.

She is survived by her husband,Donald, two daughters: Angala (DukeConley) Corbin of Francesville andErin (Tony) Gomez of Milwaukee,Wisconsin, five grandchildren, herfather, James Britt Sr. of Remington,Indiana and one brother, Tim Britt ofRemington. She was preceded indeath by her mother, Kathryn “Katie”and one brother, James L. “Roller”Britt, Jr.

A Celebration of Life service will beheld at a later date at Jasper CountyCommunity Services.

Linda was a member of All SaintsCatholic Church, San Pierre. She wasalways up for adventure and lovedtraveling, camping, fishing, plantingand watching her garden grow andspending time with her family andfriends.

She is survived by her husband,Rockford, four children: James(Annette) Fritzen, Darlene (Jerry)Fritzen Jarrett, Cheryl (Al) LorenczBolan and Stephen Lorencz, twelvegrandchildren, twelve great grandchil-dren and two siblings: Carol Padgettand Dennis (Velvet) Solmos. She waspreceded in death by one son, RobertLorencz and one brother, Charles“Chuckie” Solmos.

Ed was a veteran of the US Army anda member of the Knox AmericanLegion Post #131. He owned andoperated a construction business. Heloved camping, his dogs and spendingtime with his family.

He is survived by two sons: Tennis(Gina) Reiss and Edward (Sandy)Reiss Jr., both of Knox, one daughter,Helen Reiss of Culver, Indiana, thirteengrandchildren, twenty two great grand-children and four siblings: John(Mable) Reiss of Winamac, Indiana,Beth (John) Paul and KatherineKitzmiller, both of Griffith, Indiana andChris Bailey of Greenup, Kentucky. Hewas preceded in death by one daugh-ter, Mary Ann Mullins.Due to the restrictions on social gath-

erings, a private graveside service willbe held and a public Celebration of Lifeservice will be held at a later date.Memorial contributions may be givento the Knox American Legion Post#131 or Heart to Heart Hospice.

Connie was a 1982 graduate of KnoxHigh School. She was a talented cook.She enjoyed spending time with herfamily, Christmastime and animals.

She is survived by her husband,Maurice, one son, Adam (Lindsay)Loehmer, one daughter, Ashley (Keith)Risner, four grandchildren with one onthe way, her mother, Shirley (Woods)Gerstandt, one sister, Pennie (Mark)Brettin and one brother, Butch(Andrea) Gerstandt. She was preced-ed in death by her father, HaroldGerstandt.

WINAMAC, IN - Dolores MargaretGrizzell, 87, died Tuesday, March 31,2020, at her home. She was bornOctober 1, 1932, in Chicago, Illinois, tothe late Ernest Myron and MargaretAnastasia (Russell) Small. On May 31,1986, in Logansport, Indiana, she mar-ried Claud Si Grizzell. He died January29, 2013.

Dolores was a veteran of the US AirForce, having served as a cryptogra-pher, during the Korean War. She wasa longtime member of All SaintsCatholic Church in Logansport and amember of the Winamac AmericanLegion Post #1721 and the local HonorGuard. She was retired from Eaton’s(formerly Singer) in Winamac. Doloresenjoyed traveling in her motor homeand was in a motor home club. Sheraised and showed GermanShepherds, winning many awards.She was also a member of the RedHat Society.

She is survived by three daughters:Cherylann Johnson of Macomb,Illinois, Carrielynn Huse of Winn,Michigan and Amanda (Nicholas)Cook of Logansport, seven grandchil-dren and many great grandchildren.She was preceded in death by onedaughter, Gailmarie Ayers and onegrandson, John Allen Wilson.

Private family services were held atFrain Mortuary, with Rev. Jeff Martinofficiating. Private burial was in St.Peter’s Cemetery, Winamac. AMemorial mass will be held at a laterdate at St. Peter’s Catholic Church.Memorial contributions may be madein the form of Mass Intentions to AllSaints Catholic Church or St. Peter’sCatholic Church or the Pulaski AnimalCenter.

Leo was a veteran of the US Army,having served as a First Lieutenant inField Artillery, 29th Division, duringWWII and served as a combat liaisonand reconnaissance officer. He wasawarded many medals during his mili-tary career. He was the co-founderand partner of the North Judson TrueValue Hardware Store and a memberof the North Judson American LegionPost #92, the 40 & 8 Voiture #1742,Past President of the North JudsonSchool Board, and Past President ofthe North Judson Chamber ofCommerce, a member of S.S. Cyril &Methodius Catholic Church, theKnights of Columbus, the Order ofForesters and the VFW Post #748 inKnox, Indiana.

He is survived by two daughters:Joanne (Tom) Stadler of Fortville,Indiana and Nancy (Dan Hebble)Seghetti of Centenial, Colorado, fivegrandchildren and ten great grandchil-dren. He was preceded in death byone brother, Nello “Nick” Seghetti.

A memorial mass will be celebratedin North Judson after the social restric-tions have been removed. In lieu offlowers, memorial contributions maybe made to the Brighton Hospice.
