Servo evaluationWe inspect all electrical and mechanical parts. We look for bearing fits, worn output shafts, housing fits, and corroded broken flanges. Check integrity of the encoder or resolver. Servo RepairServices include: remagnetize servo rotor magnets, re-manufacture front flange using old flange and factory dimensions, repair or replace motor brush holders and Bakelite insulation tubes on DC motors, repair motor windings, complete motor rewinding (both AC and DC). The windings are washed, baked, and tested. Encoders and Tachometers are checked for accuracy and are recalibrated or repaired as needed. Servo AssemblyWe utilize high-grade sealed bearings, double lip seals on the front flange, and install all new seals, O rings, gaskets, and connectors, and utilize two part epoxy coating for extra protection. Preliminary andFinal Repair TestingThroughout the assembly process each repair will be ground tested numerous times. Tests include: A test to confirm there are no grounded electrical parts in

the motor, all AC stators are surge-tested to at least 1500 volts to insure insulation and windings will withstand the loads put on the motor in production, after the baking process DC motor armatures go through a bar to bar test to show if there are any shorts in the winding, and motor alignment. Final motor testing is run on a servo drive appifier to simulate your machine. Tests are run at the full voltage and the full current per motor nameplate specifications.
