Announcing City Council’s City of Maryville Spring Cleaning Challenge 2019 Business Community Edition - #TrashtagMaryville Challenge kick-off is April 1 (no foolin’!) Challenge Ends April 30 Lately, we’ve seen a lot of trash accumulating around the community from recent flooding and people littering along our roads. We need your help to show our best side and clean up the trash detracting from the natural beauty of our community. Your Challenge if you choose to accept it! Accepting the challenge means you’ll take responsibility for cleaning up the area safely accessible from your property - road front, catch basins, ditches, etc. Make it fun & creative! We’d love to see your employees proudly showing off their haul of litter with a before and aſter photo(s) or video clips. We want to see your efforts! Find the litter around your area where you can safely clean up Encourage your staff, employees, or family and friends to join you for a cleaning day Provide bags, gloves, rakes Get creative! Take a before photo Take an aſter photo Post both photos on social media with hashtag #TrashtagMaryville Challenge three more businesses or neighbors (tag them too) to keep the challenge going When you’ve cleaned up your target area, post your before and aſter photos on facebook, twitter or instagram, and challenge three more businesses (or neighbors) to participate.
