SHOULD I WEAR JEANS/TROUSERS?(Self Introspection of a Yuva Yogini)

My introspection started I always wondered why I shouldn’t wear jeans/trousers in centers, Pujas and outside sahajacollectives? I could never get an answer I wore trousers and jeans !efore co"ing to Sahajayoga, and to "y first collective center I was wearing jeans, and when after center I wasinteracting with fellow yogis I was thin#ing that what they "ust !e thin#ing a!out "e that I do nothave sense of decency and respect to our culture that I a" wearing jeans $ut why this thoughtca"e to "y "ind, "ay !e !ecause I reali%ed even !efore co"ing to Sahaja yoga trousers are notpart of our culture

&nd than#s to Shri 'ataji, that one day in * all of "y three jeans were washed and weredrying outside in the courtyard and so"e!ody pic#ed the" all+ ow there are too "anycoincidences that all * trousers to get washed on sa"e day and all three get pic#ed up indaylight, when no cloth !efore and after was stolen, "ust !e so"e wor# of a Gana So I

intuitively reali%ed that we should not wear jeans or trousers !ut for ne-t five years why was notanswered

Sahaja Fashion.he things would have !een easier, if Shri 'ataji would have said that do not wear jeans at all$ut I never ca"e across such a lecture $ut then I read lots of advices !y Shri 'ataji inSepte"!er’ issue of ir"al 0ani In which 'other told that to respect ourselves and to give usdignity we should wear clothes of our own culture, we should wear clothes with vi!rations, weshould not wear short tops, indecent tops, tight jeans etc .o this list I would li#e to add low1rise

So I stopped wearing sawar1#urtas and started wearing jeans, less wor#, easy to handle, lots of effort saving (or we "ay call it lethargy) &nd last !ut not least, all friends wear and if I don’t wear I would !e called conservative, I would !e laughed at
