Narrative
What’s the story?
An admitted Sadist leading a life with a dull desk job, channels his inner compulsions, during the night, as a professional interrogator, brutally and psychological extracting bits of crucial information from his "clients".His closest friend, a compulsive Trophy Hunter and ruthless Retrieval Specialist feeds Mark's compulsions with fresh interrogation subjects. Mark's world is threatened with the introduction of compulsive voyeur Cassandra Morrissey.

Technical
• Compulsions uses a wide range of camera angles including over the shoulder, point of view, close up, establishing shots, and extreme close ups. The next slide shows a few of these.
Editing
• Compulsions use good editing techniques to make the programme run smoothly and understandable. The flashbacks are easy to interpret and so are the point of view editing techniques.
Sound
• When scenes take place in the warehouse location, an echo is used to emphasise the remote-ness of the place and that no matter how much ‘clients’ scream, they cant be heard.
• Compulsions also use a lot of voice overs. This helps us interpret what is happening when there are no vocal lines in the script.
