My research: All of us, 10th graders made our specifications, details, researches, designs and
ideas for the event on a google doc, which is shared with all the 10th graders and teachers.

Diane, Musa, Chealing, Jeong In, Rindeth’s brainstorm:We want to divide the rooms by global context and color code them accordingly. We also counted and turns out that most of the projects are personal and cultural expression, so those people can have the majority of the library. There are only 3 people in globalization and
identities and relationships, so they can have just a small portion. The scientific innovation can have the entire design room. So, these four global contexts can have different colors and they can decorate their booths according to these colors. SO when people walk through our booths, they’ll know what global context they’re “in” and it’ll all just
look really organized and united.ALSO the invitation background can be 4 squares of these colors! and in 3 different languages. (ENGLISH, KHMER, KOREAN and
CHINESE OR FRENCH!)^btw, this idea isn’t the final one. it’s just our group’s brainstorm ideaIf we were to have these different colors, we need to decide which
colors for each global context:Ms Paulenne suggests we use the new school colors (black,
silver/grey, teal and pink).*you guys can still change

since there will be 1-2 minutes for each person. lets say…16 minutes for the global context. at that time, they can go get
refreshments and all, then its rindeth’s performance for the last 14 or so minutes. :)
Table arrangements:Should we have it by the sides of the room? like tables just by
the edges? or some in the middle and scattered around?So, by the edges and some scattered around?

Criterion B :Below is a bird’s eye view of the library without any arrangement of tables and chairs yet. Please note that we
have a total of 29 students but the exhibition only consists of 26 students because 3 students were new and didn’t have
time to make their personal project. The sketchup file with all the layout and allignments of the chairs and tables will be submitted in a different file as Microsoft word won’t allow
sketchup files to be pasted onto its document.

I chose paper number 3’s chair design layout to develop more fully on sketchup because my personal project is to

write 3 songs and perform them on the day of the exhibition which means that I will need a stage to perform. And I chose
this layout because it properly places the stage where I perform in a place where the audience could watch and see
me perform with a huge and free space and without any large or bulky objects blocking the view or is in the way.

On the day of the exhibition, we arranged the tables by their global concept and also we made some changes with the arrangement and layout of the tables because we couldn’t find any of those plastic bendable boards so we used big black wooden boards instead which changed the layout of
the exhibition entirely.

Criterion D:
During the exhibition, we all had to make our own forms for the viewers or guests to evaluate and give opinions on our
product. Some people decided to make their survey on paper by typing them on Microsoft word and printing them
while others decided to make an online survey in this case I did where I also made a QR code where people could use their smartphones and read the code and the app will take
them directly to my online form.

Besides this form, the 3 new students in our class- since they did not have anything to do, were assigned
to make an overall form of the exhibition and they asked questions to the teachers, audience and

The students need to be more prepared to welcome visitors. Don't just stand for the
visitors to go and get them. Better to have more larger space

The results overall were mostly positive which means that the solution the problem against the design specifications

are on a good track and is going well. Things that could be improved about the solution in the future is that we need to do more planning in advance and not procrastinate to the
last minute. Also one more important factor is that the client should always be available in person at the place of the
event especially the day before the exhibition where in this case Mr. Jordan was on a trip or meeting to somewhere so we weren’t able to consult him or ask him for his opinions or
advices. I find that this solution is quite effective for the problems but it could also be improved well maybe for future
events like this so this solution is on the right track.
SELF EVALUATION
CRITERION A: I think that I’ll get a 4 for my criterion A because I have made some research and analyzing.
CRITERION B: I think that I’ll get a 5 for my criterion B because my classmates and I have developed really good ideas together in the Google doc.
CRITERION C: I think that I’ll get a 6 for my criterion C because my classmates and I have come together and organized the exhibition and its layout pretty well with a proper plan from the Google doc.
CRITERION D: I think that I’ll get a 5 for my criterion D because my friends and I have made pretty decent forms and surveys for the audience to answer and have made up result graphs to show the data too. I have done an okay job with my evaluation of the exhibition.
