Hedgesville United Methodist Church Administrative Council has always used the Berkeley County School System to decide on the availability of the HUMC facilities.  In recent weeks we have, and will continue, to monitor the COVID “color” for our county.   Currently we are at ORANGE, causing the temporary closure of Berkeley County Schools.  The Administrative Council has decided that for the safety of our congregation, and to remain in line with our already established policy, we will close the building to outside use, apart from Sunday Worship service and daily church business. This will be updated weekly and all questions should be directed to the Church Office (304-754-8793) or Jessica Knill Lopez, Administrative Council Chair. This week (October 19-25) the building will be   CLOSED   for external use.  We do apologize for any inconvenience this will cause.  We will try to identify and notify every one of the building status weekly. Sunday Services will continue until Pastor Tony and the Administrative Council notify you otherwise. Loaves & Fishes – Loaves & Fishes will be permitted to continue, but will have to do curbside pickup.  Please remember that we want to fully support this ministry and the group may need more help to facilitate this change in plans this week.   Please consider coming out to help.   Many hands make light work! Thank you in advance for your understanding. Jessica Knill Lopez, Administrative Council Chair – Knilljlo@gmail.com or 301-995-7937.
