Todays activities should keep you busy. We are learning about The Enormous Turnip. Have a look at these pictures and see if you can write something to say what is happening in each one. The pictures are in the correct order.

If you want to write a sentence that’s brilliant. If you find it tricky use your sounds to write a word for each picture.

MathsToday we are thinking about size. The word to describe the turnip was enormous, that means really, really big. Today I want you to put the turnips in order. Start with the smallest first. If you can’t print this out, just point to which one you think is the smallest and then find the next smallest until you find the biggest turnip. If you have glue, you can cut and stick these.

ReadingDon’t worry if you have already read these, it is good practice to read things again and we have more red words to read and practice. If you want, you can

practice spelling and writing these words too. Ask a grown up to help you.

EADToday we are thinking about mixing colours. Let’s see if you can remember which colours you can mix together. If you have paint at home, you could mix the colours using paint, or you can copy the experiment in the video using milk, water and food colouring. As a challenge see if you can make brown. I wonder what colours you mix to make brown!
