Co-creation plan and co-design of solutions in CALs - Executive Summary Write any brief you want about how the process of identification of CLEVER cities co-creation planning activities are to be conducted and if any specific considerations will be taken into account.

Please consider briefing on the specific CAL and giving reflection on the overall co-creation process with relation to both WP2 and WP4.

CAL Definition

(refer to Tool 5.1 – Alignment on CAL ID)

Description of main characteristics and challenges

Please describe the main characteristics of the study area (location, surface, etc.) and the challenges it should face and solve

CAL NBS intervention Please indicate the name of the intervention proposed

Description Please describe the NBS interventions proposed in one sentence

Budget available What is the budget available and funding source?

CLEVER Cities componentWhat kind of intervention is it? Corridor, node or spot?

Policies Framework and Planning Instruments

What is the policy framework existent in terms of NBS?Is it integrated and coordinated with any other sectorial policies? Which? Is there any planning instrument that support NBS implementation?

CAL Responsibilities

Leader – CAL Project Manager

Establish who is the responsible on each CAL and what is the role and the tasks. The leader refers to the local team and UIP and interacts with the Local Monitoring Team (LMT).

Communication Manager

Establish who is responsible on communicating with the local cluster partners on each CAL. Define the role and tasks (collecting news and preparing reports on the advancement of the CAL inside the Communication framework).

Local Context Coordinator

If needed, a contact person works as a liaison point between the CLEVER CAL project manager and local associations

Secretary

Establish who is the secretary. Define the role and tasks (helping programming activities; sending out invitation and organizing events).

Venue

Define the possible venue to conduct the workshops of co-design. See description in co-design venue

Timing

Schedule the activities based on availability of your stakeholders and time commodity for everyone essentially involved. Activities are fundamentally intertwined with same local cluster responsible on CAL realisation.

Participation

Indicate the main attendees. Make sure you invite all presumably involved stakeholders.

CAL ID – Focus/Monitoring-TOC

CAL Focus

(refer to Tool 6.1 - CAL ID FOCUS)

Vision Define a clear vision for CALs within the overall CLEVER Cities vision of the FR city and reasons to be involved in UIP.

MissionExpect the Mission to be carried out and evaluate the possible technical challenges.

Objectives/RealityShort term or long-term objectives that support your CAL vision and mission. The issue and situation you are trying to address (What’s the context and challenge now which means that the NBS/intervention is needed? /

Impacts Evaluate internally the values gained. The long-term difference you make

CAL Specific Objectives (refer to the SMART Analysis of Tool 6.1 - CAL ID FOCUS)

Define your major objectives of CAL and analyse it based on CLEVER CITIES Project goals

Specific/OutcomesWhat is the desired result? (who, what, when, why)The changes or benefits that tell you the world is better

MeasurableHow can you quantify (numerically or descriptively) completion of CLEVER Cities objective? How can you measure progress?

AttainableWhat skills are needed? What resources are necessary?Does the goal require the right amount of effort?

RelevantIs the goal in alignment with the overall mission or strategy?

Time-boundWhich is the deadline? Is the deadline realistic?
