This busy post will combine line management of team members responsible for scheme delivery with responsibility for ensuring that programmes are delivered within existing licence agreements and developing a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to protect scheme integrity. The Delivery Manager will work across teams to ensure a consistent brand for the Change That Lasts schemes and work with colleagues to demonstrate the impact of the programmes. We will expect this role to support income generation activities and develop the frameworks that will maintain the integrity of the scheme as we move from small pilot to nationwide coverage. This busy role will require good project management skills, a knowledge of marketing and generating opportunities in local authorities and mobilisation of new work streams. The post holder will work with the Change that Lasts Business Development Lead to establish additional sites and generate new business interest in the programme. DUTIES AND KEY RESPONSIBILITIESRole specific responsibilities1. Quality Assurance

1.1Create a due diligence framework and monitoring schedule with the Ask Me Trainer and Ask Me Coordinator for Ask Me licence holding members

1.1Investigate and progress OCN or other forms of accreditation for the current training programmes and scheme delivery

1.2Work with colleagues and partners to create and ensure strong brand guidelines are followed for members using the Change That Lasts materials

1.3Ensure Change That Lasts partners are working according to MoU/Licence or grant agreements

1.4Create and review MoUs or other agreements to protect the scheme’s brand identities, assets and impact data

1.5Produce written reports as required for funders and partners on the quality and impact of the scheme

1.6Ensure that data protection and licence arrangements are followed and work with stakeholders to resolve any conflicts or divergences from agreed protocols

2. Evaluation2.1 Ensuring metrics and monitoring are fit for purpose and audience needs

2.2Work with colleagues on an annual review of monitoring tools and record

keeping arrangements to ensure accurate understanding of the impact of Change That Lasts

3. Supporting Partnerships

3.1 Act as a key point of contact for the project for the delivery team, other colleagues, delivery partners and external stakeholders.

3.2 Ensure regular and effective communicate with licence holders and project partners, making sure that they are aware of their commitments, that these commitments are reflected in project plans and they are fully briefed as plans evolve.

3.3 Maintain a positive dialogue with other stakeholders about the projects and respond to queries as appropriate.

3.4 Network and promote the work of Women’s Aid, identifying and progressing potential partners to support our work.

General Responsibilities4. Maintain oversight of the project budget, regularly reviewing project

expenditure against the agreed budget, and ensuring that financial monitoring and reporting requirements are being met

5. Ensure all work aligns with and represents the values and ethos of Women’s Aid.

6. To maintain clear and adequate records of work completed and to produce regular reports on work programmes and activities for both internal and external (funder) briefings required

7. To take direction on priorities from your line manager, which may vary from time to time

8. To carry out word-processing, filing, and administrative tasks necessary to comply with the job description

9. To abide by all organisational policies, codes of conduct and practice, and to work within a framework of equal opportunities and anti-discriminatory practice

EXPERIENCEEssential: Experience in project management and execution Experience of overseeing complex projects with multiple stakeholders within set

timeframes Experience of negotiating contracts and/or delivery plans with stakeholders Experience of service delivery through contract management Experience of writing and producing briefings, resources and reports for a range

SUMMARY OF TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT

Terms of appointment: Confirmation of appointment will be subject to the satisfactory completion of a probationary period. This will normally be of six months (less for short term contracts). During this time an employee will be expected to establish their suitability for the post. During the probationary period employment may be terminated in writing, giving one week's notice by either party (this may be waived by mutual agreement). Only any statutory dismissal procedure will apply during the probationary period. There is no probationary period for contracts of under 3 months.

Salary: £36,492. (On an incremental scale guided by the NJC Local authority pay scale points 41-45) + benefits. Salary is paid in arrears through bank credit by the 25th of each month. Part time staff receive pro-rata payment based on hours worked.

Working hours: The standard working hours for this post are 37 hours per week, based in Bristol, London or remotely; benefits include a generous bank holidays and annual leave package and contributory pension scheme.

Support and supervision: Women’s Aid has a commitment to providing regular supervision and support to staff with annual appraisals forming a key part of staff development. We have a training policy in place and encourage staff to take an active role in their career development plan. Pension: Women’s Aid is enrolled with the People’s Pension scheme. Women’s Aid normally contributes 7% of salary and the employee contributes 3% towards the group pension scheme. Eligible staff will be automatically enrolled on the scheme when they have successfully completed the 3 month interim probationary review. .

Annual Leave: Women’s Aid offers an annual leave entitlement of 25 days per year rising by one day per year until 30 days annual leave per year is reached. In addition, we offer 8 days public holidays plus 2 additional days in March and August. All leave entitlement is calculated pro-rata for part time employees.

Other leave: Employees have contractual rights to time off for reasons of sickness, maternity and other circumstances.

Period of notice: 3 months after your probationary period has been completed.

Union: You have a right to membership of a trade union. Women’s Aid recognises Unison.

Asylum and Immigration Act 1996: To confirm your right to work in the UK, Women’s Aid will need to see the original of at least one document from a specified list (available on the gov.uk website). Most commonly this is a British Passport.
