School on T.V.R.T.E 2 - will broadcast “school on T.V.” each day Monday to Friday from 11 until 12. The show will be aimed at primary school children. They will also have it available on R.T.E Player so you can catch up if you miss an episode.

Did you know?Padraic Colum (8 Dec 1881- 11 Jan 1972) was born in a workhouse in County Longford, where his father worked. He was a poet, novelist, dramatist, biographer, playwright, children’s author and collector of folklore. He was one of the leading figures in the Gaelic League which wanted to revive the Irish language, customs and traditions. He was also a collector of old Irish folk songs and was a member of the board of the famous Abbey Theatre in Dublin.

Religion:The Unity of Christians

All Christians are united in their belief that there is one God, whose Son, Jesus, lived among us on Earth and rose from the dead.Christians may belong to different faith families e.g. Catholic, Protestant, etc. They all believe that God sent the Holy Spirit to be with us to guide us on our journey to our common home in Heaven.

● Can you remember what St. Paul wrote in his letter to the Corinthians about the gifts of the Holy Spirit? (If not check out the purple box on page 65 of your Grow in Love book)

(Now turn to page 67 & 68) ● St. Paul also wrote to another group of Christians in

the city of Ephesus. The Ephesians. He spoke to them about how Christians are united.

‘The Unity of Christians’. (Eph 4:5-6)There is one Lord, one faith, one baptism: there is one God and Father of all people, who is Lord of all, works through all and is in all.

Questions:
