I. Caution :

Wear the glove and eye protection glass to protect the skin and eyes from

refrigerant. Don’t use this device near the fire and spark Don’t expose this device

into sunshine and rain. Avoid to contact with corrosive liquid and gas. Keep good

ventilation.

II. Notation :

Read the manual carefully before using this device.

Only for R134a. Check the refrigerant type before operation.

The real working capacity of refrigerant cylinder should be 80% of it’s

efficient capacity, to avoid the serious accident result from over high

pressure.

Don’t put the hose near rotation and heating automobile parts such as

electronic fan and radiator.

Check the vacuum pump oil level before use.

The start time of recovering process should be less than 10 in one hour

otherwise the compressor will be damaged.

Keep away from children and people of insufficient mental development

when running.

Only for expert professional.

Don’t disassemble device without permission of manufacture.

Don’t put this device upside down.

On the right side of this device there is high voltage input.

The charge process would not work if the refrigerant in cylinder is less than

1 Kg.

IV. Device introduce

ACM 100 refrigerant handling system is suited for R 134a air conditioner service.

Work processes are numerical controlled High efficiency separator and dryer are

applied and device have function of charge refrigerant in tin.

IV.1 Function

Recover and purify refrigerant into cylinder.

Vacuummize the air conditioner

Charger refrigerant into air conditioner from cylinder

Recycle and purify refrigerant in cylinder

Charger the compressor oil into air conditioner

Drain waste oil that is separated from refrigerant automatically

V. Preparation before useV.1 Digital weight scale calibration

Press key at same time to enter reset menu. Press menu

Key to select “weight scale” item and press key at same time

again till “reset” is displayed. Press at the third time to reset weight scale.

V.2 Accessories

Connect the 2 straight end coupler of hose to connector on right side board of machine,

connect rapid service coupler to hose

VI. Operation process

VI.1 Recovery operation

Vacuumize machine hose system to protect A/C system from air before

recovery. Operator could skip this step if on air in machine hose

system is confirmed. Connect rapid coupler to hose, perform

vacuumizing (second step of 6.3 as conference).

Switch on power and the LCD should display the net weight of refrigerant in cylinder.

Make sure that rapid coupler is on close

Position. Connect rapid couplers to air

conditioner. Run air conditioner and stop

it in several minutes. Turn the rapid coupler

clockwise to open. Check if there is pressure change on pressure

gauge. When the rapid couplers are opened, recovery process would

not start if pressure is less than

120KPa, system would give an alarm that there is no refrigerant in hose.

VI.2 Recovery notation

A System would check the high and low side pressure before the start of

recovering process. The process would not start if the pressure is too low.

B If the pressure and the refrigerant weight is reach to the preset protection

value the system would stop automatically and give an alarm, The protection

value of pressure is 1.7MPa, the protection value of weight is 14Kg.

C In the recovering process, it would compensate for work time for 1

minute when the high or low pressure hose is close to 0Mpa. After the

compensation time the recovering process is over. And the oil drain time

of 30 seconds is following.

D If the recovering process is not completed by itself, such as the manual stop

result from hose process is too high, the oil draining process would not be

start automatically.

6.3 Vacuumizing operation

A Switch the Power on and cylinder refrigerant weight should be displayed.

B Connect the high and low pressure hose to air conditioner. Check the

high and low pressure. If the pressure is higher than 250Kpa the

recovering process should be start at first. The vacuumizing process

would not start if the pressure is higher than 250Kpa, please recover the

refrigerant in hose.

C Press “Menu” key to enter main

menu and select “Vacuum” function and

press “Start/stop” key to enter

key to start process. The data

would be saved automatically until the next

modification

D Press “Stop” key to exit process when process is completed.

6.4 Recycle operation

Switch on power and the refrigerant weight in cylinder should be displayed.

Check the oil charge valve, make sure that valve, make sure that valve is

closed, this valve is strictly prohibited to be opened in recycle process.

The process would not work if the refrigerant in cylinder is less than 2Kg or

more than 10Kg.

and select “Recycle” function and press

“Start/stop” key key to enter Recycle

Process. Press key to modify value according to the

requirement. Press the “Start/stop” key to start the process. The

data would be saved automatically until the next modification.

Press “Stop” key to exit process when process is completed.

6.5 Charge refrigerant and compressor oil

A Vacuumize the air conditioner and be sure the refrigerant and oil quantity is

enough for charge requirement. The process would not work if the refrigerant

in cylinder is less than 1Kg.

B If the oil need to be charged, press oil inject key after

vaccumizing process and watch the new oil bottle, let go the key until the

required oil enter A/C system.

C Select “Charge” function on main menu:

Press “Start/stop key to modify the value according to the

requirement. Press the “Start/stop” key to start the process. The

data would be saved automatically until the next modification.

VII. Maintenance

8.1 Refill the cylinder with refrigerant:a. The system need to be refilled with refrigerant when the device is used at

first time or refrigerant in cylinder is close to 1Kg.

b. Take a cylinder of refrigerant which is as same as device refrigerant and connect

it to the device low side hose.

c. Run the vacuumizing process for 1 minute.

d. Open the valve on the outer cylinder and set the recovering weight, run the

recovering process.

Notation :

Please operate strictly according the above

Requirement, otherwise it would result in the fault.

Please don’t refill over 3 kg refrigerant into cylinder in one recovering process.

Put the cylinder upside down after the recovering process is start. (figure 4)

Close the cylinder valve when the real recovering quantity is 1 Kg less than the preset quantity.

8.2 Change the dryer and filter:

System count down the recovering refrigerant weight. When the value

reach to 180Kg. system would prompt that the dryer and filter is going to

fail. When the value reach to 200Kg. system would prompt changing the

dryer and filter. System could not start any process at this time.

Changing state

1. Check the pressure. If the pressure is higher than

200Kpa,please recover the refrigerant in hose.

2. Remove the backboard of device and replace the

old dryer and filter with a new one. Please pay

attention to the installation direction of dryer and filter.

3. After changing the dryer and filter is should switch the power on and

press the key in same time to enter reset menu, select 2.filter and

press start/stop key to reset filter working time.

8.3 Change vacuum pump oil

Use the original pump oil or oil recommended by manufacture

When the oil level in vacuum pump is reach the minimum position, pump oil should

be refilled. If the oil level is too high, it should be drained by unfastening the

draining screw.

System could accumulate the vacuumizing time. When the value reach to 150 hours,

system would be displayed when the power is on and system would no start

vacuumizing process.

When to color of pump oil is changed to white, it should be changed.

Changing state:

1. Before changing, run the vacuumizing process for 1 minute to be sure that the pump

is in hot condition.

2. Unfasten the oil entrance lid and add oil into the ump until the oil level is higher

than the minimum position, fasten the screw.

3. Switch the power on and press the key in same time to enter pump oil

working time.

8.4 Digital weight scale calibrating:

After changing the refrigerant cylinder, or the digital weight scale is used for a long

time, the weight scale displaying weight is different with the real value. It could be

corrected by calibrating the weight scale precision and cylinder. Press

key at same time to enter reset menu. Press menu key to select “weight

scale” item and press key at same time again till “reset” is displayed.

Press at the third time to reset weight scale.
