Colonial Cruise 3rd-10th September 2019
Cruise No.
Ocean Ambassador Report
The Ocean Ambassador Program (OAP) is carried out on Captain Cook Cruises small cruise liner ship, the MV Reef Endeavour whereby rubbish is collected from each of the beaches we stop at. Rubbish is brought back to the ship, segregated and recorded. This is done to help with marine conservation activities as well as to preserve the natural beauty of the beaches that we visit.

A total of 4 beach stops were made during this cruise and the types and amounts of rubbish collected is displayed throughout this report. Plastic is still the most abundant type of rubbish collected and this could be an indication that the OAP on the MV Reef Endeavour is contributing to a healthier and safer environment by removing these unwanted items from beach fronts.
