DEPARTMENT ACTIVITIES FOR THE YEAR 2016-17

The Bank Coaching classes organised by department of Commerce in collaboration with a pioneer in bank coaching ,TIME Institute, was inaugurated on 30.June 2016 ,by the Syndicate Bank, former General Manager, Mr. Surendran. 35 students have joined for the coaching and the time schedule is 3.pm  to 4 pm, Monday through Friday.

On 26.07.2016, Department organized an awareness session on Tax Planning & Investments to the faculty members of the college. The class was led by the officials of Geojit BNP Paribas Ltd.

On August 04, 2016- As part of the Malayala Manorama initiative, PUSTHAKA KAITHIRI, department collected a variety of books from the students and faculty members and contributed the same to St. George LPSS School, Edappally

Department in collaboration with LCC Academy offers Tally (Accounting Software) classes to the degree students.

Department in association with ED Club conducted a skill training class on Paper Bag Making

The association activities of Department – COMAX, for the academic year 2016-17 was inaugurated by Mr. Gireesh Ganapathy, the Company Secretary of Federal Bank Ltd on 29.09.2016. He enlightened the students with his motivational speech. Principal Rev. Sr. Reethamma presided over the function and Head of the Department of Commerce, Ms. Rani KA felicitated the occassion.
