The Heart and the Bottle

Read and discuss the book ‘The Heart and the Bottle’ by Oliver Jeffers. The Heart and the Bottle Story

Create your own Bottle of Happiness using a jam jar. Put your happiness notes in it from the writing task. As an extension, you could also add in some happy memories that you have of birthdays, parties, holidays or family outings so that you can remind yourself of these happy times if you are feeling sad.

We are learning about what plants need to grow, survive and flourishWeek 4 – What does a plant need to grow? - I can investigate the best conditions for a plant to grow.Cress seed investigation Resources needed: watercress seeds (or similar) compost, sand, soil, water and potsChoose 2 (or more) of the experiments on word document ‘Cress seed investigation’.
