BIMPI EXAM RULES AND REGULATIONS 1. No person will be allowed in an examination room during an examination except the students concerned and those supervising the examination. 2. Students must dress neatly, wear shoes and must not wear t-shirts (without collar). 3. Students must come on time. Those who come more than 30 minutes late are not permitted to take the exam. 4. No extra time is given to those who come late. 5. Students shall sit at the correct desk by checking the desk number. However, the Supervisor/Examiner has authority to assign seats if necessary. 6. Students shall bring their exam card and place it on their desks. 7. Students are only allowed to bring a pencil, blue or black pens and erasers to their desk. 8. No materials or electronic devices shall be brought into the room or used at an examination except those authorized by the Supervisor or Examiner. Unauthorized materials include, but are not limited to: books, class notes, or aid sheets. Unauthorized electronic devices include, but are not limited to: cellular telephones, laptop computers, calculators, MP3 players (such as an Ipod), Personal Digital Assistants (“PDA” such as a Palm Pilot or Blackberry), pagers, electronic dictionaries, Compact Disc Players, Mini Disc Players, Smart Watches and Smart Glasses. 9. Students shall turn their phone off or set it to silent mode and leave it with the rest of their belongings at the front of the room.

10. Candidates shall not communicate with one another in any manner whatsoever during the examination.  If students are found to be communicating, disciplinary action will be taken.

11. Students are not permitted to borrow any stationery and books/notes from each other.

12. Any student who attempts to cheat will be dismissed from the exam room, their names will be recorded in the exam record form and they are not permitted to continue the exam.

13. Students must behave appropriately and must not make noises during the exam.

14. When the exam is in progress students are not permitted to leave the room, except under supervision. They can go to the rest room before the exam starts.
