Rules and Conditions of Entry.

1. Warm up available on surface!

2. Hard hats must be worn in all ridden classes, hats of PAS 015 / VG1 standard must be worn. Riding hats must have a chin strap on them.

3. No galloping on the showground.

4. No horse or pony under the age of 4 years may be ridden on the showground.

5. Hacking / Show Jackets must be worn in all ridden classes.

6. DOGS MUST BE KEPT ON LEADS AND CLEARED UP AFTER.

7. The organisers reserve the right to alter classes, judges or any of the published information.

8. Entries are accepted and admission to the showground is granted on condition that the organisers and persons acting on their behalf accept no liability for any accidents, loss or damage to persons, animals or property howsoever caused.

9. No refunds, except upon receipt of a Veterinary or Doctors Certificate. No refunds will be issued in the event on a class clashing.

10. Whilst every attempt has been made to avoid classes clashing, or in the event being cancelled for any reason, the organisers accept no responsibility and therefore refunds will not be made.

11. THE JUDGES DECISION IS FINAL. Any objections must be made within 30 minutes of the end of the class and must be accompanied by a deposit of £10, which will be refunded if the objection is upheld.

12. No stallions / colts to be handled or ridden in the children’s classes. No spurs to be used in children’s classes.

13. Any discourteous behaviour to any official will result in dismissal from the showground.

14. We strongly advise that all children 16 yrs and under wear a hard hat whilst showing in hand.

15. Third party public liability insurance is strongly advised for all competitors.

TSR Riders Championships

TSR Riders & In Hand Showing Finals – This show is a qualifier for the 2017 TSR Showing Finals. Qualify and enter ANY of the Finals Central, East Anglia, North West, North East, South East, South, Wales & South West or Scottish. You Do Not have to be a TSR member to qualify or enter a final. The Rider/Handler qualifies and can enter any horse/pony in any number of Finals!

TSR Riders Finals – 1st & 2nd riders qualify and will receive a qualification card in the ring.

TSR In Hand Finals – The two highest placed Handlers with a TSR In Hand Card will qualify in any In Hand class.

Handlers MUST have their cards signed in the ring by the judge/steward; cards are available FREE from the TSR

Registration numbers must be stated on the entry form. Horses and ponies will not be ridden at the final. Riders any age. Classes may be divided as appropriate.

If you qualify you’ll receive a Sunshine Tour qualification card – simply record the qualification online.

Also qualify for Royal London with us!First, second and third placed horses/ponies not already qualified in eligible classes will qualify for the Champion of Britain Title classes to be held at the Royal London Show in 2017. ✜EQUITATION CHAMPIONSHIPS ADULT QUALIFYING CLASS ✜

Run under SSA rules defined in the current Members’ Handbook. Open to SSA Adult Members and Non-Members aged 18 or over on 1st January of the current year. Members carrying their current Championship Points Cards are eligible for SSA rosettes to 3rd place and SSA Championship Points. Side Saddle International offer a rosette to the Adult Member, judged to be the best turned out. Competitors must wear a hat to current Safety Standard or above.

The sole criterion for this class is the elegance of the picture presented by horse and rider. Attention may be paid to the rider’s personal appearance but detailed inspection of rider or tack is not required. Fancy dress or period costume is not permitted. Competitors are required to walk, trot and canter. No individual show is required, but the Judge may ask groups of 3 or 4 riders to give short displays. A Special rosette will be awarded to the highest placed Adult Member and Junior Member of the SSA carrying their current Championship Points Cards. Competitors must wear a hat to current Safety Standard or above.

The British Miniature Horse Classes Class 12-19.

These classes are open to all Miniature horses regardless of registration, and owners and handlers do not need to be members of the BMHS. The winners in each of the three Star Seeker classes together with the highest placed un-registered horse in each of the three classes will qualify for the Championship classes at the BMHS Breed Show 2017, provided that the owner and handler of the horse becomes a member of the BMHS within 28 days of the show. To be eligible to compete in the three Open Star Seeker Classes, horses must not have been placed 1 st – 5th at the Horse of the Year Show or 1st – 2nd at the Royal International Horse Show. The winners of the three sections for un-registered horses at the Breed Show, together with the overall Champion at the Breed Show will, subject to vetting, be eligible for the BMHS Stud Book and will qualify for the RIHS 2018 in its appropriate class. Horses will not be measured on the day but will be measured when attending the Championship classes at the BMHS Breed show. All horses put forward for the Championship must be under the BMHS Maxi height of 92 cms and only those conforming to BMHS Standard Height of 87 cms are eligible for registration into the Stud Book and eligible to compete at the Royal International Horse Show 2017.
