Position: Administrative Assistant
Grade: Kent Range 3
Responsible to: Office Manager
Purpose of the Job:
To provide general clerical or administrative support to the school under the direction or instruction of the Office Manager.
Key duties and responsibilities:
1. Check KS1 & KS2 registers and identify missing children2. Run attendance reports and issue letters accordingly3. Provide the Families & Community Manager with administrative support4. Provide administrative support e.g. photocopying, filing, shredding, emailing, completion
of routine forms. This could be directly supporting the Senior Leadership team5. Prepare and issue general letters, undertake office stationary orders6. Undertake reception duties; act as first point of contact in response to telephone and
face-to-face enquiries, sign in visitors7. Update manual and computerised records/management information systems including
SIMS, as required8. First point of contact for sick pupils, liaise with parents/carers/staff, other general first aid
duties.9. Administrative support e.g. photocopying, filing, emailing, and completion of routine
forms. This could be directly supporting the Senior Leadership Team.10. General School Office duties

SIMS experience (or prepared to attend training)
