General Description of Equipment:

The proposed pressurisation equipment shall be supplied by Duty Points Systems Ltd and shall be the Quantum range of pressurisation units, model QP-35. The pressurisation unit shall be installed with 2no. 200ltr Zilmet expansion vessels supplied by Duty Points Systems Ltd.

The unit has the following features:

Floor mounted configuration unit with base frame and steel enclosure. 10ltr polyethylene break tank with lid, WRAS approved ball float and valve, type AB air gap

to BS13077, 22mm overflow and suction strainer. Drain valve and isolation valves will be installed across all components. Run and standby pumps with electrical starters. Pumps fitted with non-return valves. Pressure transducer control. The unit is suitable for connection to a local BMS and the integral controls are provide the

following functions; system fill mode, system leak detection, adjustable pressure differential.

Front LED display facia with high pressure, low pressure, pump trip warnings, power on indication, fault indications.

VFC’s available to integration with BMS for the following; pump 1 run, pump 1 fail/trip, pump 2 run, pump 2 fail/trip, low pressure, high pressure, excess starts, low water, boiler interlock.

Pumps capable for continuous running for system filling. Be installed complete with an expansion vessel(s) suitable for operating up to 10bar at a

temperature of 100oC.

The system will be installed with 2no. 200ltr expansion vessels also supplied by DutyPoint systems. These are capable of a maximum cold pressure of 3.2bar. Expansion vessels shall be the floor standing vertical type.
