Directions: Students, you will create an Instructional Keynote. Use the Keynote app to create a presentation that gives how-to instructions. You may select a topic of your choice. You must have a title slide, and a minimum of 9 slides teaching others “how-to” for a total of 10 slides. You may include text, drawings, diagrams, photos, and videos. This week’s assignment is to listen to ANY instrumental song (a song without words) in any Genre (style of music such as: Rock, Hip HOP, Country, Blues, Jazz, R and B, Gospel, Classical, Romantic, 20th Century, Pop, etc...) and answer at least 3 questions off the Response Journal

Please put your First name and Last name as well as, your homeroom Teachers name at the top of your answer sheet. This assignment is in Schoology under Instrumental Journal 3/30-4-

During the break, please select one drawing prompt from each category and using a drawing app on your iPad or a sheet of paper (blank/not lined preferred) create a 30-minute drawing for each selection. Please turn in or submit your 3 drawings to Schoology before your next art class.

Drawing Journal Prompts: Identity:

Who am I? When I grow up... My biggest fear... My greatest adventure... What do others see in me?

Imagination:

Be creative with letters or numbers. Draw yourself in an imaginary place/world. Listen to your favorite song and express it in a picture. Draw an emotion without showing any faces. Create your own comic strip character/s.

Art Skills:

Draw your room in One Point Perspective. Create an abstract self-portrait. Observe any object and draw it 4 different ways. Create a design using ONLY one complimentary color scheme. Draw a landscape ONLY using geometric shapes or forms.
