About Me
How y’all doing?
“How lovely it is to dream while you’re awake,” this is my all-time favorite quote from
Andre Agassi – International Tennis Hall of Fame member. This quote is an extremely
motivational message to me, and I strive to live my life as if I were dreaming while awake.
Fueled by my passion for the clay target shooting industry and its interrelation with
business and law, I consider myself a ‘forever student’; prime for graduation this upcoming April
from Jacksonville University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in political science. I consider
college graduation an immense achievement because the median earnings of those with bachelor
degrees is 66% higher than that of the average adult high school graduate. But for me,
graduation this spring is simply a new beginning to move me closer to my career goal. Upon
graduation, I will pursue a graduate dual degree in Master of Business Administration and Juris
Doctor. My lifelong professional goal is to become a lawyer and use my shogun shooting
knowledge/experience to deal with gun laws and rights.
My hometown is Social Circle, GA and has the population of 4,262, which enables my
love for the outdoors. Typically, I spend most of my free time hunting, fishing, or doing
something involving nature. And, being an only child kept me outdoors because it brought me
close to my two dogs, Kirby – a black Labrador retriever and Rory - a mini-Australian shepherd.
However, the most important aspect in my life is my relationship with Jesus Christ; I value my
Christian faith as the cornerstone of who I am. Christianity is the world’s largest religion by
following, but I identify as a non-denominational Christian – the bible itself is the sole focus of
my faith.
Currently, I am the assistant coach for the Jacksonville University Shooting Team and
have been a member of the team for three years; including, last year’s team captain and the two-
time reigning MVP. Competitive clay target, or “mud saucers” (as they were originally called),
shooting is a major part of my life and I have been competing for almost ten years. Throughout
my shooting career, I have accumulated the accolades of: multiple time Team USA member and
NSCA (National Sporting Clays Association) All-American Team member, and multiple time
champion at the world, national, and state level. I feel extremely blessed to compete across the
globe and throughout the United States and world, it allows me to make lifelong friends and
deeply cherished memories. I am a certified private shotgun instructor; I regularly teach private
and group lessons. To understand my shooting career more in-depth, please visit my instructor

Accompany me into the realm of the outdoors and take a gander into my life’s journey.
Best,
