BLACK SEA ADVISORY COUNCIL – BlSAC CONSILIUL CONSULTATIV PENTRU MAREA NEAGRĂ /CCMN/ - 22-23th of May

The Black Sea Investment Forum, coordinated by the Ministry of Transport at the Black Sea Naval Event, to support efforts already made to promote cooperation between countries in the area in the context of a common Black Sea agenda.. IRCEM represented ECESP at the Conference and presented the possibility of the circular strategy on critical infrastructure in the Black Sea region, which aims to support and stimulate investment and improve the EU's global business environment by reducing barriers to investment and promoting sustainable financing.

CERCurban - 3REUSE for an integrated circular economy – 29th March 2019CONFERENCE “CERCurban - 3REUSE for an integrated circular economy” - During the event CERCurban discussed based on the changes that will occur on the part of separate collection and recycling of waste in Cluj-Napoca, about how we can integrate the circular economy in our lives, but also what will consist of educating the community and taking responsibility in this direction.We organized during the project 5 workshops and the team of them were plastics, wood, textiles, waste creation, Zero Waste Living practices regarding the reduction of food waste were used and in which the objects for the stylization of the children's playground were built.

ACT4SCP Project – “CIRCULAR ECONOMY Summer School” 16th October – 25th October

The course aims to bring to light the importance of circular economy and ecology in relation to a healthy planet and support an Eco-responsible entrepreneurship education with focus on sustainable consumption and production practices and re-design.ACT4SCP 2019 provides an intensive and exciting educational program that includes lectures by the importance of circular economy and will present new methods for developing sustainable consumption and production, accompanied by interactive seminars and workshops at which the School’s participants acquire experience in exploring and working on these topic.

Particular topics that the school has focused on include: Education and entrepreneurial actions of the circular economy. Information on the importance of sustainable consumption and production for decision

makers and the public concerned. Education in the field of sustainable consumption in the circular economy, introducing

new methods for the development of sustainable consumption. Entrepreneurship in the field of circular economy.

Elaboration of the circular economy strategy “BUZĂU CIRCULAR CITY 2030” – 9th October 2019The project aimed at creating a strategy that will support the transition from the linear economy to the circular economy of Buzau, by involving all representative actors. Therefore, all stakeholders were invited: the business environment, public authorities, NGOs, as well as the citizens of Buzau to give us a point of view on the future directions on which the city should focus in order to adopt the principles. functioning of a circular city until 2030. Aspects related to

the identification of problems of socio-cultural, economic and environmental interest were also

discussed, so as to offer solutions for them.

,,Food waste in Romania and the role of food banks " – 24th October 2019

The topics discussed were based on food waste and were supported by concrete examples provided by the Food Bank of Bucharest, also among the topics addressed are as follows: products collected and distributed, advantages and disadvantages of the legal framework for various services (transport and storage), measures to support food banks, and of course, good practices at the European level were made known and towards the end the current national level solution for Romania was discussed.

The Food Bank of Bucharest presented the results obtained so far under the Juncker plan and the action program for the next three years for the establishment of the first national network of food banks, financially supported by LIDL. One of the important results of this year of the Bucharest Food Bank was the collection of around 609,000 kg of products, with a market value of over 7,945,000 lei. The collected products were distributed to over 100 NGOs that provide support to children, young people, the elderly, disadvantaged families, in total being over 20,000 beneficiaries.

Circular 4R Economy – 21th may 2019Circular 4R Economy is the second event in the 2019 Green Report Conferences series,

organized in partnership with the Ministry of Environment.Conferintele Green Report au deschis o usa catre lumea ideilor inovatoare si a oamenilor creativi, care vor sa schimbe mentalitati, atitudini, comunitati.

The 4R Economy Circular Conference aimed to mobilize stakeholders in the area of industry and services, together with public actors and citizens, around the challenges and opportunities created by the development of a circular economy.

Together with the guests and speakers, they informed the public about the ways to encourage the repair, reuse and recycling of furniture, construction materials, electronics or other resources through fiscal facilities; development of research and redesign sectors for products that cannot be repaired, reused, composted or recycled; facilitating the production of compost and biogas from biodegradable waste; implementation of correct and effective education programs.
