1 General InformationProfilePlease read this pamphlet carefully to keep your phone in perfect condition. Our company may change this mobile phone without prior written notice and reserves the final right to interpret the performance of this mobile phone. Due to different software and network operators, display on your phone may be different, help refer to your phone for details.

Safety Information If your phone has been lost or stolen, please notify your network service provider and the SIM card could be disabled (network support is required). It can avoid the loss caused by unauthorized use.

Switch off in aircraftMake sure you power off your device or enter airplane mode when flying in an aircraft.

Switch off before entering risk areasAbide by the relevant laws, codes, and regulations strictly when using your mobile phones in risk areas. Turn off your mobile phone before you enter a place susceptible to explosion, such as an oil station, oil tank, chemical plant or a place where a blasting process is in progress. Observe all special regulationsFollow all special regulations in the area such as hospitals to switch off your phone because it may cause interference or danger. Use your mobile phone carefully while close to medical apparatuses, such as pacemakers, hearing aids and some other electronic medical devices, as it may cause interference to such apparatuses. InterferenceThe conversation quality may be impacted by radio interference. An antenna is built inside the mobile phone and located near the microphone. Do not touch the antenna area during a conversation; as it will cause drops in conversation quality. Qualified serviceOnly qualified KONKA personnel or approved agent may install or repair phone equipment. Installing or repairing the mobile phone yourself may be dangerous and will break the warranty.

Accessories and batteriesOnly use KONKA approved accessories and batteries to avoid voiding warranty. Emergency callsMake sure the phone is switched on and in service, enter the emergency number, 000, then press the Call key. Provide your location and state your situation briefly. Do not end the call until you are told to do so. The emergency number can be dialed with or without a SIM card installed.

AttentionsPlease exercise special care while using the intricate designed mobile phone. The following suggestions will help you to extend the phone’s service: Keep the mobile phone and all its fittings away enough from small children's reach. Keep the mobile phone dry. Keep away from rain, moisture, liquid or other substances that may corrode electronic circuits. Do not use or store the mobile phone in dusty places to avoid the damage of mobile phone active parts. Do not store the mobile phone in a high-temperature place. High temperature may shorten the life of electronic circuits and damage the battery and some plastic parts.

Do not store the mobile phone in extreme cold places. This will cause moisture to be formed inside the mobile phone and may damage electronic circuits when the mobile phone is moved to a constant temperature place. Do not throw, knock or shock the mobile phone, as that may cause damage to the internal circuits and high-precision components of the mobile phone.

2 Get StartedInstall the SIM Card and the BatteryA SIM card carries useful information, including your mobile phone number, PIN (Personal Identification Number), PIN2, PUK (PIN Unlocking Key), PUK2 (PIN2 Unlocking Key), IMSI (International Mobile Subscriber Identity), network information, contacts data, and short messages data.Note: After you power off your mobile phone, wait for a few seconds before removing or inserting a SIM card.Exercise caution when operating a SIM card, as friction or bending will damage the SIM card.Properly keep the mobile phone and its fittings such as the SIM card out of small children's reach.

Installation Press and hold the Power Key for a few seconds to power off the mobile phone. Lift the back cover from the bottom and remove it. Pull the left battery up and remove it. Insert the SIM card into the SIM card slot and make sure the gold plate of the card is facing downward. Press the battery down and lock the battery in the slot, then install the back cover. Using codeTo prevent from the unauthorized usage, the mobile phone and the SIM cards both support passwords type in the codes and press the OK key. Press back to modify and/or clear the code. PINThe PIN (Personal Identification Number, 4 to 8 digits) code prevents your SIM card from being used by unauthorized people. In general, the PIN is supplied with SIM card by the network operator. If PIN check is enabled, you need to enter the PIN each time when you power on your mobile phone. The SIM card will be locked if you enter wrong PIN code three times.Unlocking methods are as follows:

-Enter the correct PUK according to the screen tips to unlock the SIM card.-Then enter the new PIN and press the ok key.-Enter the new PIN again and then press the ok key.-If the PUK is correct, the SIM card will be unlocked and the PIN will be reset.Note: The SIM card will be locked if you input the wrong PIN code three times. To unlock the SIM card, you need to enter the PUK. In general, the PUK can be obtained from the network operator. PUKThe PUK (Personal Unlocking Key) code is required to change a blocked PIN. It is supplied with the SIM card. If not, contact your network operator. If you enter the wrong PUK code 10 times, the SIM card will be invalid. Please contact the network operator to replace the SIM card.

Barring codeA barring code is required for setting the call barring function. You can obtain this code from the network operator to set the call barring function.

Installing Micro SD CardThe micro SD card is a pluggable mobile storage card for the mobile phone.-To install the micro SD card, insert the card into the correct slot under the back cover. The Maximum support is 32G.-To remove the micro SD card, push down on the lock catch and slide the card out.Note:1. The mobile phone cannot automatically identify the micro SD card being inserted when the mobile phone is powered on. You must restart the mobile phone, so that the phone can identify the micro SD card.2. The SD card is a miniature object. Keep it out of the reach of small children for fear that they may swallow it.

Charging the BatteryThe lithium-ion battery delivered with the mobile phone can be put into use immediately. Battery charge level: Your mobile phone can monitor and display the battery state. The battery status is indicated by the battery level icon at the top right of the display screen. When the battery is insufficient, the mobile phone prompts "Battery low". An alert tone will be given off when the battery level is too low once you set an alert.

A charging animation appears when the battery is being charged. When the charging is complete, the animation disappears. Using a travel adapter: Install the battery into the mobile phone before charge the battery. Connect the adapter of the travel charger with the charging port in the mobile phone. Ensure that the adapter is fully inserted. Do not force the cable in otherwise the charging port may be damaged, thus voiding warranty. For more, see page 9. Insert the plug of the travel charger to an appropriate power outlet. During the charging process, the battery level grids in the battery icon keep flickering until complete the battery charging. The battery icon will no longer flicker when the charging process is complete.Note:Ensure that the plug of the charger, the plug of the earphone, and the plug of the USB cable are inserted correctly. The wrong insertion may cause charging failure or other problems.Before charging, ensure that the standard voltage and frequency of the local mains supply match the rated voltage and power of the travel charger.

Use the BatteryThe performance of a battery is subject to multiple factors: radio network configuration, signal strength, ambient temperature, chosen functions or settings, phone fittings, and the voice, data or other application mode you choose to use.To guarantee the optimal performance of your battery, please stick to the following rules: Use only the battery provided by KONKA. Otherwise, damage or even injuries could be caused during charging. You may also void the warranty. Power off the mobile phone before removing the battery. The charging process lasts a long time for a new battery or a long time no use battery. If the battery voltage is too low to power on the mobile phone, charge the battery for a longer time. In this case, the battery icon does not flicker until a long time after the battery enters the charge status.

During charging, ensure the battery is placed in a room temperature environment or in an environment close to room temperature. Immediately stop the charging process if the battery produces odor, overheats, cracks, distorts or has other damage, or if the electrolyte leaks. Long time using battery will have capacity issue, the long battery use, the less capacity have.

Once the capacity cannot satisfy the normal usage, please purchase a standard KONKA battery. Using any poor-quality fittings will cause harm to your mobile phone and may be dangerous.Note: To guarantee your personal safety and protect the environment, be careful if disposing of the battery. Return the old battery to KONKA or place it in specified battery reclamation areas. Do not dispose of the battery with normal household waste.Warning: Short-circuits of the battery may cause explosion, fire, personal injury or other severe consequences.

Power On/Off the Mobile Phone Power on the Mobile PhonePress and hold the Power key to switch on the mobile phone. A power-on animation appears on the display screen.-Enter the phone lock code and press the ok key when required. The original code is 0000.-Enter the PIN and press the ok key when required. The PIN is provided by the network operator together with SIM card.

Power off the Mobile PhonePress and hold the Power key for a few seconds to power off the mobile phone.

Locking / Unlocking the handset-To unlock the handset when in standby mode, press the menu soft key, followed immediately by the * asterisk key. When you press the menu key, you will be prompted to press the correct key.- To lock the handset when the display is on, press the red end key. You will hear a light sound which confirms the device is locked.

Connect to the NetworkAfter powering on the phone with a SIM card, the phone automatically searches for an available network and then enters the standby state. The name of the network operator is displayed after the mobile phone is registered on the network. Then you can make or receive a call.

Dialing Calls In the standby state, enter the phone number including the area code, and press the Call key to make a call. To end the call, or to cancel the call attempt, press the End key.

Dialing an international callLong Press (hold the button in) the * key can and then input "+". Next, input the country code, the area code and the telephone number. Finally, press the Calling key. Dialing call from a contactTo make a call from a contact, press the back button and select the right contacts by the "←" key and enter key. Then press the Call key. To end the call, press the red end key. Re-dialing FunctionIn the standby state, press the Call key to show the dialed calls. Press the up or down direction keys to select a number you want to dial and then press the Call key. Answering incoming callsPress the green Call key Answering incoming callsPress the red End key to end the current conversation.

Using options during a conversation Select the icon Options during a conversation to activate the speaker, to pause, end the ongoing call, originate a new call, set the mute or start recording.

Use the HeadsetIt will show the headset icon when you insert headset. Make sure you insert the headset to the bottom of the headphone jack so you can listen to audio files clearly. (do not force the headset into the headphone jack to avoid damage)

Input MethodThis mobile phone provides multiple input methods, including English input and numeric input. You can use these input methods when editing the phonebook, short messages, files and so on.

Change Entry MethodsPress the # key to switch between input methods.

Numeric InputYou can input numbers with the numeric input method. Press a number key to input the corresponding number.

English Input Each key is used to represent multiple characters. Quickly and continuously press a key until the character you want appears. Input the next character after the cursor moves. Press the # key to switch input methods. To clear wrong inputs, press the Back key.

Insert a SymbolPress the * key to enter the Select symbol interface, use direction keys to select a symbol you want.

3 APPSMultimedia CameraThe camera supports the photography function, align the camera to the picture and then press the OK key to capture photos. Pictures will be saved in the file system of the phone or the memory card.

GalleryYou can view the pictures or images through this function. MusicUse this function to play audio files. By pressing the direction key you can control the playing process of audio player: play/pause (OK key), switch to last song/next song (press left or right direction key). In audio player interface, you can press volume up and down keys to tune volume. VideosUse this function to play video files. By pressing the direction key can you control the playing process of video player: play/pause (OK key), fast forward (press and hold right direction key) or rewind (press and hold left direction key). In video player interface, you can press (volume up) or (volume down) key to tune volume. FM radioYou can use the application as a traditional FM radio with automatic tuning and saved channels. In FM radio interface, you can press volume up or volume down to tune volume, press centre key to play/pause the playing process of the current channel, press left or right arrows to move frequency. Press the option menu and then you can choose Channel list/Search/Speaker/Record FM.

Sound recorder After accessing the sound recorder, you can press the Menu key to perform the following operations: Voice quality: Select voice quality as High/Standard. Recording: select the mode of recordings; there is Normal/Meeting/lecture.Click the icon of the list to enter the recording file list.

File ManagerThe phone provides a certain space for users to manage files and it also supports the Memory card. The capacity of the Memory card is selected by the user and can be up to 32GB. You can use the file manager to manage various directories and files on the phone and the Memory card.

Facebook Mobile phone provides a Facebook function. You can register and log in Facebook to chat or talk with your contacts. After opening Facebook, you can open or close the mouse mode by pressing the Menu key. Under the mouse mode, when the mouse cursor is in the active content area of Facebook / WhatsApp, the volume side key can also be used to scroll the page up and down. When the cache is running out, you can go to Settings - System Settings - Storage - Cached data; select OK to clear the cache.

WhatsApp Open WhatsApp menu, choose agree and continue. Select the chosen city and enter the telephone number. When you have received a code, make sure you type this code on WhatsApp screen and login. After you open the WhatsApp, you can open or close the mouse mode by holding down the Menu key.

Some interfaces do not support keyboard operation and you can use mouse to complete the operation. Whenmouse mode is on, Move the cursor to the text area, on some pages you can use the volume keys to scroll up or down. When the cache is full, you can go to Settings - System Settings - Storage - Cached data; select OK to clear the cache.

ContactsYou can store contacts to the Phone memory or SIM card. – Please note saving devices to the sim card is highly recommended.After selecting a telephone number in the contacts, Press the menu key to perform the following operations:

Add Contact: Add a new contact to phonebook. Delete contact: Delete the telephone number from the phonebook. Import/Export ： You can copy contacts from the SIM/Phone contacts list to the SD card/Phone storage, or copy contacts from the SD card/Phone storage to the SIM/Phone contacts list.

Settings: Sort contact list by first name or last name.Call HistoryIn the standby interface, press the Call key to enter call history. All CallsYou can view all the calls. Received CallsYou can view the latest received calls. Choose Received calls and then select a received call to delete, dial, add to contacts or send a message to it. Dialed CallsYou can view the latest dialed calls. Choose Received calls and then select a received call to delete, dial, add to contacts or send a message to it.

Missed CallsYou can view a list of the latest missed calls.Note: When some missed calls are indicated, you can select Read to enter the missed calls list. Navigate to a missed call and then press the Call key to dial the number to originate the call.

MessagingThe phone supports Short Messaging Service (SMS) and Multimedia Message Service (MMS). You can send text messages and manage the messages that you send and receive. In the message, Press the menu key to see options for that message. New message New SMS: In this menu, you can edit and send new messages. The operations for editing messages are as follows:Select it to create a message, set the telephone number of the recipients or select the Contact, and synchronously edit the content of SMS. Select “+” icon options to select add picture, add sound, or add video. You can then send the message as an MMS.

ConversationsYou can store all the received text messages, and it will display the names of the senders. In the case that the sender is not included in the phonebook, it will display the telephone number of the sender.The options for a single message include: Select message, Call, Insert quick text, Add subject, Add to Contact.

Select message: Delete or Forward the selecting messages. Call: Call the number in the short message. Insert quick text: You can insert message templates. Add subject: Create the MMS title. Add to Contact: Add the number to phonebook.You cannot receive new messages if the memory for messages is full. Delete unnecessary messages. Delete all messagesYou can remove all messages in the message list. Select to deleteMark the current message or mark all, then delete them.

Settings Text message(SMS)Request delivery report: Request a delivery report for each message you send.Manage SIM card messages: Display SIM card status, and you can delete messages. Edit quick text: Add/edit/delete quick text.SMS Service centre: Display the SMS Service centre number.

GeneralYou can set the message font size/show, email address/delete old messages, and so on.

CameraAfter entering the camera, press the left and RIGHT ARROW key to select the camera or video, press confirm key to execute.

SOS When the SOS emergency mode is triggered, the Google location service will automatically start to work if it has been turned on. The phone will send out a SMS message (for example: Emergency! Need help!!!) To the first and second emergency numbers set by the user.

When Google location service locating is successful, the following SMS with a Google Maps link will also be sent out to the emergency numbers, example: Emergency! Need help!!!(Approximate location)Http://maps.google.com/maps?hl=en&q=N ** . ** ,E *** . ** &t=m&z=17 .

If Google location service fails to generate the coordinates for Google Map Link, due to the reason such as weak GPS signals or network connection failures.The SMS message (for example: Emergency! Need help!!!) Will still be sent, however, the Google map link will not be generated nor sent.

Note: A loud beeping sound will play to alert anyone who is nearby. This sound cannot be altered and the volume cannot be adjusted. It is automatically set to a loud tone.

Google location service uses a combination of GPS, Wi-Fi and mobile networks to determine your location. The accuracy of the coordinates will depend on the situation and available location services.

SOS mode setting: Select On / off to enable or disable the SOS function. Holding the SOS button for 5 seconds will trigger an outgoing call to the contacts in the set SOS numbers list. At the same time emergency information or location information will be sent in a short message to the first TWO emergency numbers. When the emergency contact is not answered for the moment or busy, the system will redial for 3 times, if still no one answered, the program will stop. During the call, you can end the process with the End key.

Note: If emergency contact number is diverted to voicemail, sequential contacts will NOT be dialed. Please consider this when selecting emergency contacts.

Emergency Message: you can edit the default message for SOS to send to someone. Emergency numbers: you can set up to 5 numbers for SOS calls. When SOS function is activated the phone will automatically call these 5 numbers in sequence until one answer. The phone will automatically go to hands free mode. Fall detection settings: You have the option to turn the SOS button on/off. To do this, go to menu->SOS ->SOS mode settings and then select on. Open the fall detection function, will increase the system power consumption, shorten the battery life, please understand.

Fall detection Sensitivity settings: You can set the fall detection sensitivity. The greater the percentage, the higher the sensitivity

Note: Higher sensitivity may result in more false triggers, Lower sensitivity may not detect all falls/drops. Please adjust accordingly based on individual needs.

Fall detection timer: Can set fall detection countdown time. Timer can be set to 5, 15, 30, 120 or 300 seconds

Note: If you accidentally press the SOS button, you are given a duration of 5 seconds to press ANY button which will cancel the SOS process.

Pedometer Pedometer mode: You can turn the pedometer on or off. Today’s steps: This shows you the number of steps in the day. Target: Show your current progress. Previous days: Show the records of your previous days. Total steps: Show your total step count. Target settings: You can set the target number of steps for the day. Reset all counters: Resets all current counts.

Tools BrowserThis function enables you to view the internet. Input the website to be searched and press Enter key to access to the network directly Clock Alarm clocks are set but deactivated by default. You can activate one, multiple or all of them in needs. For each alarm clock, the ringing date and time can be set. You can get to Alarm settings directly by pressing the left arrow.

CalendarOnce you enter this menu, there is a monthly-view calendar for you to keep track of important appointments, etc. Days with events entered will be marked. CalculatorBy pressing the direction key, you can add, subtract, multiply and divide. Press ok key to calculate.

To-doUse this function to create new memo, which you can view, add, edit, delete, delete overdue, delete all, jump to date, view uncompleted, send V-Calendar and saved as file. If you have set the alarm for the memo, alarm will sound when the time is up, the content of the memo will display at the same time. DownloadsShows the downloaded files.

Settings Power savingTurning on the power saving mode will reduce power consumption and increase the battery life. When this is on, in the absence of user operation, mobile data and Wi-Fi connection are turned off. Mobile dataWhen you open the mobile data, you can use the Internet without Wi-Fi.

Speed DialsYou can set the speed dial for the 2-9 key. Set as follows: Select number 2 (or 3,4,5-9) ->Add form contacts, select the saved number from the phonebook you want to allocate then press OK to save. Exit the menu.Now when you long press (press and hold) the number 2 it will dial the selected number. ShortcutSet shortcut functions for the navigation keys (Up/Down/Left/Right).

User profilesThe mobile phone provides multiple User Profiles, so that you can customize some settings (ring tones, ring volume, key pad tones etc) to adapt to specific events and environments.Customize the user profiles according to your preference and then activate the user profiles. The user profiles fall into five scenarios: General, Silent, Meeting, Outdoor and Airplane mode.

System settings SIM managementSIM card information: the user can open and close, the SIM card. The default Settings: the user can set setting to default for voice calls, information and data connection.The other Settings: for international roaming, users can choose the data roaming. Display roaming reminds the user that they can select always/never. WIFIThe user can turn on or off the WIFI. BluetoothThe user can turn on or turn off Bluetooth; you can receive/send a file through Bluetooth.

Mobile networksYou can open or off the Data connection. Set the data roaming，preferred networks, network mode，access point names and network operators. TTS Audio SettingsYou can set incoming call settings and dialing settings.

DisplayWallpaper: Users can set the wallpaper from Gallery / wallpapers.Brightness: Users can automatically adjust the screen brightness.Sleep: Set the device to sleep and save power.Font size: Users can set the font size. It can be set to small, normal, large, Extra-large. StoragePhone storage: Select the phone memory, all files, pictures, music and so on, saved in the phone memory.SD Card: Select the SD card, all documents, pictures, music SD card.

BatteryBattery use: The user can view the display and usage.Battery indicator style: User selectable graphical / Percentage. LocationYou can choose to turn on or off the location service. SecurityYou can set up the SIM card lock and make password.

Language& inputSelect the display language for the mobile phone. Date& timeAutomatically determines the date and time: The user can open a network (WIFI or GPRS) data connection.Automatic time zone: When you open a zone, it will automatically update the region based on the mobile phone area. About phoneYou can see some information about the phone, such as: wireless update/status/model number/build number and so on. – You can find your IMEI number here, if you need it for warranty return. Factory data resetUse this function to restore factory settings.
