WOMEN’S BIBLE STUDIES**Lisa Robbins’ Tuesday morning study will pick up again at 9:00 AM, Tuesday January 15. They will be beginning the study “To Live is Christ,” by Beth Moore. This study meets in the fellowship hall.**Rhonda Hart’s Thursday evening study will resume at 6:30 PM, Thursday January 24. They will be beginning “Discerning the Voice of God,” by Priscilla Shirer. This study meets in the Youth building. **Frieda Savage’s Wednesday evening study will restart at 6:00 PM, Wednesday January 30. They will be beginning the study “Adventurous Prayer” by Thomas Nelson. This study meets in building 3.Please feel free to reach out to any of these leaders for more information about their studies. All ladies are welcome and invited to join in a study that is best suited to their schedules.

MEN’S PRAYER GROUPJANUARY 22

The men’s prayer group will resume their even numbered Tuesday meetings at 6:30 AM in the fellowship hall next Tuesday, January 22. Bro. Brice will be making breakfast followed by a devotional and a time of prayer.

EVANGELISM 101JANUARY 17

We are offering an evangelism class, taught by Lance Birdsong, to all who are interested. The training will consist of two 30 minute classes of learning how to share our faith & testimony, according to scripture, and the following meetings would be practical application out in the community. MLK WEEKEND GOSPEL CONCERTJANUARY 20 7:00 PM

Next Sunday evening for our evening service we will once again host the annual Martin Luther King Gospel Concert sponsored by the Seguin MLK Committee. It is a fitting tribute as Dr. King was a Baptist minister. The service will be at 7:00 PM rather than our usual 6 PM service.

DISASTER RELIEF TRAININGFEBRUARY 8 & 9

First Baptist Church will be hosting the Southern Baptist of Texas Convention the second weekend in February for a two day Disaster Relief training program. Anyone 18+ can sign up for the training. You must sign up online at tbmtx.org. The cost is $40 per person. There will be a basic training from 6:00 – 9:00 PM, Friday night and at 8:30 AM on Saturday you can choose from chainsaw, flood & fire, blue roof and box ministry trainings.
