Mrs. Vanvlerah took a picture of the kids and put it on her website. The picture she took was seeds, plants, and cactus. It took her 1 day to make the website. Her website has newsletters information for parents like class dojo. She takes other pictures and put them on websites.  Mrs. Vanvlerah website tells interesting things about our school.

Mrs. Phillips has interesting information about her class and herself.  She also has upcoming school events.    You can see the teacher's websites at home. Fluent is when you are good at something. For example, you are solving a problem like 9x6 and instead of counting on your fingers you would know the answer in your head so like 9x6=54.   Reflex helps us get fluent. Mrs.Zankel said,  “The more you practice the more you know.” Mrs. Jake told us that by memorizing your multiplication facts and you will become a quicker doing multiplication. Miss. Zankel said that the longer you play, the more games you can unlock. When you play reflex you practice more and more multiplication fact families and get tons of coins! Most of the kids like playing Reflex game.

Imagine lunch programBy Jerry and Darryl

Most kids buy their lunch. Mylah told me that she likes Spaghetti. Dermena likes pizza.  Mr. Todd, our lunch server, said Manhattans gets the food from the GFS store.

Some students like to pack a turkey and cheese sandwich. A lot of kids eat chips and drink Kool-Aid. This year, if we finish lunch and throw away our trash, we get to go outside early.

Mr. Ransom shared ideas for improving our school.  He advised us on taking car of our students, our building, our safety, our education, and our character.

We can take care of each other by not horsing around.  Students should be good examples for each other.  We can be friendly by saying good morning to students and teachers.  We can take care of our school by leaning up behind ourselves.  In the restroom, we need to use it quickly, then wash and dry our hands and leave.   Water on the floor is not safe.  We should not horse play either.  On the playground, we can play games in groups instead of getting into fights.

Mr. Ransom talked about our education.  He said to be on time and listen to our teachers.  He told us that if we listen, we could learn.  Our character can improve.  We should not let other people control what we do. We should watch how we present ourselves in public.  Mr. Ransom told us to be such a good example that parents will want to send their kids to Imagine Madison School.
