Donation forms available: Donation forms are now available to submit to the Finance Committee to request specific donations for appropriate and worth causes from our Christmas Auction Funds.The paintings that David Cooley generously donated are still up for auction/bid. Ed Payton is working to have them up loaded to an art website for potential bidding to art lovers. If you have insight into the art world, please contact Ed Payton to provide your knowledge.



For any requested class expenditure, please contact a member of the Finance Committee: Bob Russell, Jim Embrey, Dave Grim or Karen Campbell (Emeritus) & Jim McCann.

SOCIALS:Culture & Cuisine We will meet on Friday, March 4th at the Jenks Planetarium on the 3rd floor of the new Math & Science Building on the Central Campus in Jenks at 205 E. “B” Street at 6:00 for a private showing of their Sistine Chapel presentation, the culture part of the evening.



Then, because we have had such a tremendous response to this event (63 people signed up!!!) we have changed to the Tres Amigos Restaurant at 81 st & Lewis in the Plaza Shopping Center at 7:15 since they can accommodate all of us, for our great cuisine! If your plans change and you can join us, please let Karen Campbell know.

LOVE OFFERING FOR SHARON CAMBRIDGE – Maranatha’s generosity was present again yesterday when we took up an offering for Sharon Cambridge, BAUMC Kitchen Manager and Chef, who will be celebrating her 77th birthday this week. To show our appreciation for her hard work all the time, but particularly during our recent Chili Supper, the class donated $200.00 to give to her, along with a signed card. Nice job, Maranatha.

ALZHEIMER’S INFORMATION MEETING – As part of a campaign to help our church be better prepared by putting a face on aging issues such as dementia and Alzheimers, BAUMC is hosting a free congregational gathering entitled “Facing Dementia as a Church Family” at 6:30 on Thursday, April 21st. Will Randolph, Director of Aging and Older Adult Ministries at the United Methodist Church in Nashville will be featured and representatives from the Alzheimers Association Oklahoma Chapter will be available with resources and information. RSVP to (918) 699-0127, as space is limited for the event.



CLASS DISCUSSION GUIDELINES - We are a large class with many people who have lots of interesting things to say. In order to give everyone an opportunity to voice their comments, we are incorporating into our weekly lessons the discussion guidelines that Marita Morgan taught us: (1) Only one comment per person per class. (2) Economy of words. (3). Speak loudly so everyone has an opportunity to hear you. Thank you for adhering to these discussion guidelines so that we will all have an opportunity to participate in the discussions and benefit from hearing each other.
