Hello Parents,

This week we have:RECEPTION:* Written and illustrated our news.* Daily phonics.* Hand gym and handwriting.* using WORD to write our names, and changed the font each time.* Been introduced to the - sign, and made some number sentences taking away different numbers from 10.* Colour mixing using cellophane.* Listening to the Easter story again, ready for our Easter Service.PRESCHOOL:* Told our news.* Matching quantities to numerals.* Drawing shapes.* Name writing.* Dripping vinegar onto bicarbonate of soda.* opening padlocks with keys.EVERYONE:* Science morning, experimenting with paper aeroplanes carrying loads.* Volcano making with vinegar and bicarb.* Games and dance skills.

REMINDERS:* Library books should be brought to school each Friday for us to change them.* Please could you encourage children not to bring toys to school, as we have had a few incidents of these getting lost or broken, thank you.* Next Friday, the RECEPTION children should be brought straight to St. Helens Church as our Easter service begins at 9am. All welcome.PRESCHOOL children can be dropped at school as usual from 8.45am (if you wanted to take them to the service first, then drop them at school, please let me know ASAP as we will need to pre-order lunches).
