What to include in your entry:Entries should relate to targets, actions and results that relate to the Partner’s own Travel Plan only i.e. actions that reduce dependence on car use for employees/ students/ visitors, and promote more sustainable travel, on the commute.

Judges will not consider results relating to activities outside the Partner site or those that do not relate to the organisation’s employees/students/visitors.

Partners can include any actions undertaken since the previous awards deadline in February 2015.

Partners can include mode split results from when they started working on their Travel Plan, including any results from before February 2015.

Partners can include both qualitative and quantitative information and results e.g. installation of cycle parking, uptake of cycle to work scheme by 90 staff, promotion of Tax Saver tickets with a quarterly travel roadshow, promotion of a walking route on site etc.

Marks are weighted in favour of quantitative results. Partners should include information from monitoring surveys – even if the organisation isn’t achieving the results hoped for. If the Partner can show the organisation is working to address an increase in car use, this is very valuable information.

Partners with representative response rates from recent surveys, in particular the all-Partner Travel Change Surveys in April/ autumn 2016, will be awarded bonus points (regardless of whether car use went up or down).

When filling in the entry form, Partners do not have to write paragraphs. Bullet points that convey the information are fine.

Please note the word count per response will be strictly applied. Entries exceeding the word limit will be returned for resubmission.

Please submit your entry form as a Word document.
