Story from Word Study Work Lesson 6 Example

Story introduction:

Andy is on the beach playing in the sand. He is making a ramp for trucks out of sand.

“I am so sad” said Andy. “We do not have damp sand for our ramp”

Andy ran to get damp sand for the ramp. He had the sand.

Andy’s dad swam up to see his ramp of sand.

“That sand ramp looks rad, Andy!” said Dad.

“I can add sand to the ramp”.

Andy and Dad’s hands made the ramp flat.

That sand ramp was like a flat pad.

Andy and Dad were glad.
